________________ २९२ . आदिपुराणम् . स्वस्थानाच्चलितः स्वर्गः सत्यमुद्वासितस्तदा । मेरुस्तु स्वर्गता प्राप धृतनाकैशबैमवः ॥५९॥ ततोऽमिषेचनं भर्तुः कर्तुमिन्द्रः प्रचक्रमे । निवेश्याधिशिलं सैंह विष्टर प्राङ्मुखं प्रभुम् ॥१०॥ नमोऽशेषं तदापूर्व सुरदुन्दुभयोऽध्वनन् । समन्तात् सुरनारीभिरारंभे नृत्यमूर्जितम् ॥१०॥ महान् कालागुरूद्दाम धूपधूमस्तदोदगात् । कलक इव निर्धूतः पुण्यैः पुण्यजनाशयात् ॥१०२॥ विक्षिप्यन्ते स्म पुण्यार्धाः साक्षतोदकपुष्पकाः । शान्तिपुष्टिवपुकामर्विष्वक्पुण्यांशका इव ॥१०॥ महामण्डपविन्यासस्तत्र चक्रे सुरेश्वरः । यत्र त्रिभुवनं कृत्स्नमास्ते स्माबाधितं मिथः ॥१०४॥ . सुरानोकहसंभूता मालास्तत्रावलम्बिताः। रेजुर्धमरसंगोतैर्गातुकामा पेशिनम् ॥१०५॥ अथ प्रथमकल्पेन्द्रः प्रमोः प्रथममज्जने । प्रचक्रे कलशोद्धारं कृतप्रस्तावनाविधिः ॥१०६॥ ऐशानेन्द्रोऽपि रुन्नश्रीः सान्द्रचन्दनचर्चितम् । प्रोदास्थत कलश पूर्ण कलशोद्वारमन्त्रवित् ॥१०७॥ शेषरपि च कल्पेन्द्रः सानन्दजयघोषणैः । परिचारकता भेजे यथोक्तपरिचर्यया ॥१०८॥ इन्द्राणीप्रमुखा देन्यः साप्सरःपरिवारिकाः । बभूवुः परिचारिण्यो मङ्गलद्रव्यसंपदा ॥१०९॥ शातकुम्भमयैः कुम्भैरम्भः क्षीराम्बुधेः शुचि । सुराः श्रेणीकृतास्तोषादानेतुं प्रसृतास्ततः ॥१०॥ उस समय ऐसा जान पड़ता था कि स्वर्ग अवश्य ही अपने स्थानसे विचलित होकर खाली हो गया है और इन्द्रका समस्त वैभव धारण करनेसे मुमेरु पर्वत ही स्वर्गपनेको प्राप्त हो गया है ।। ९९ ।। तदनन्तर सौधर्म स्वर्गका इन्द्र भगवानको पूर्व दिशाकी ओर मुँह करके पाण्डुक शिलापर रखे हुए सिंहासनपर विराजमान कर उनका अभिषेक करने के लिए तत्पर हुआ।।१०।। उस समय समस्त आकाशको व्याप्त कर देवोंके दुन्दुभि बज रहे थे और अप्सराओंने चारों ओर उत्कृष्ट नृत्य करना प्रारम्भ कर दिया था ॥१०१ ॥ उसी समय कालागुरु नामक उत्कृष्ट धूपका धुआँ बड़े परिमाणमें निकलने लगा था और ऐसा मालूम होता था मानो भगवान्के जन्माभिषेकके उत्सव में शामिल होनेसे उत्पन्न हुए पुण्यके द्वारा पुण्यात्मा जनोंके अन्तःकरणसे हटाया गया कलंक ही हो ॥१०२।। उसी समय शान्ति, पुष्टि और शरीरकी कान्तिकी इच्छा करनेवाले देव चारों ओरसे अक्षत, जल और पुष्पसहित पवित्र अर्घ्य चढ़ा रहे थे जो कि ऐसे मालूम होते थे मानो पुण्यके अंश ही हों ।। १०३ ॥ उस समय वहींपर इन्द्रोंने एक ऐसे बड़े भारी मण्डपकी रचना की थी कि जिसमें तीनों लोकके समस्त प्राणी परस्पर बाधा न देते हुए बैठ सकते थे ।। १०४।। उस मण्डपमें कल्पवृक्षके फूलोंसे बनी हुई अनेक मालाएँ लटक रही थीं और उनपर बैठे हुए भ्रमर गा रहे थे। उन भ्रमरोंके संगीतसे वे मालाएँ ऐसी जान पड़ती थीं मानो भगवान्का यश ही गाना चाहती हों ।। १०५ ॥ तदनन्तर प्रथम स्वर्गके इन्द्रने उस अवसरकी समस्त विधि करके भगवान्का प्रथम अभिषेक करनेके लिए प्रथम कलश उठाया ।। १०६ ॥ और अतिशय शोभायुक्त तथा कलश उठानेके मन्त्र को जाननेवाले दूसरे ऐशानेन्द्रने भी सघन चन्दनसे चर्चित, भरा हुआ दूसरा कलश उठाया ॥ १०७॥ आनन्दसहित जय-जय शब्दका उच्चारण करते हुए शेष इन्द्र उन दोनों इन्द्रोंके कहे अनुसार परिचर्या करते हुए परिचारक (सेवक) वृत्तिको प्राप्त हुए ॥ १०८ ॥ अपनी-अपनी अप्सराओं तथा परिवारसे सहित इन्द्राणी आदि मुख्य-मुख्य देवियाँ भी मंगलद्रव्य धारण कर परिचर्या करनेवाली हुई थीं ॥१०९।। तत्पश्चात् बहुत-से देव सुवर्णमय कलशोंसे क्षीरसागरका पवित्र जल लानेके लिए श्रेणीबद्ध होकर बड़े सन्तोषसे १. शून्यीकृतः । २. -गरुद्धाम म०, ल० । ३. वर्चः तेज इत्यर्थः । ४. उद्धरणं कृतवान् । प्रोदास्थात् म०, ल० । ५. परिचारकता प०, अ०, ल०।
