अध्ययन/उद्देश/सूत्रांक सूत्र-८११
हे भगवंत ! उत्सर्ग से आँठ साधु की कमी में या अपवाद से चार साधु के साथ (साध्वी का) गमनागमन निषेध किया है । और उत्सर्ग से दस संयति से कम और अपवाद से चार संयति की कमी में एक सौ हाथ से उपर जाने के लिए भगवंत ने निषेध किया है । तो फिर पाँचवें आरे के अन्तिम समय में अकेले सहाय बिना दुप्पसह अणगार होंगे और विष्णु श्री साध्वी भी सहाय बिना अकेली होगी तो वो किस तरह आराधक होंगे? हे गौतम ! दुषमकाल के अन्तिम समय वे चारो, क्षायोपशमिक सम्यक्त्व ज्ञान-दर्शन-चारित्र युक्त होंगे । उसमें जो महायशवाले महानुभावी दुप्पसह अणगार होंगे उनका अति विशुद्ध दर्शन ज्ञान चारित्र आदि गुणयुक्त, जिसने अच्छी तरह से सद्गति का मार्ग देखा है वैसे आशातना भीरु, अति परमश्रद्धा संवेग, वैराग और सम्यग् मार्ग में रहे, बादल रहित निर्मल गगन में शरदपूनम के विमल चंद्रकिरन समान उज्ज्वल उत्तम यशवाले, वंदन लायक में भी विशेष वंदनीय, पूज्य में भी परमपूज्य होंगे।
और वो साध्वी भी सम्यक्त्वज्ञानचारित्र के लिए पताका समान, महायशवाले, महासत्त्ववाले, महानुभाग इस तरह के गुणयुक्त होने से अच्छी तरह से जिनके नाम का स्मरण कर सके वैसे विष्णुश्री साध्वी होंगे। और फिर जिनदत्त और फाल्गुश्री नाम के श्रावक-श्राविका का होंगे कि कईं दिन तक बयाँ किया जाए वैसे गुणवाला युगल होगा । उन सबकी सोलह साल की अधिक आयु होगी । आँठ साल का चारित्र पर्याय पालन करके फिर पाप की
आलोचना करके निःशल्य होकर नमस्कार स्मरण में परायण होकर एक उपवास भक्त भोजन प्रत्याख्यान करके सौधर्मकल्प में उपपात होगा । फिर नीचे मानव लोक में आगमन होगा । तो भी वो गच्छ की व्यवस्था नहीं तोड़ेंगे। सूत्र-८१२-८१३
हे भगवंत ! किस कारण से ऐसा कहा जाता है, तो भी गच्छ व्यवस्था का उल्लंघन नहीं होगा । हे गौतम ! यहाँ नजदीकी काल में महायशवाले महासत्त्ववाले महानुभाग शय्यंभव नाम के महा तपस्वी महामतिवाले बारह अंग समान श्रुतज्ञान को धारण करनेवाले ऐसे अणगार होंगे वो पक्षपात रहित अल्प आयुवाले भव्य सत्त्व को ज्ञान के अतिशय के द्वारा ११ अंग और १४ पूर्व के परमसार और नवनीत समान अति प्रकर्षगुणयुक्त सिद्धि के मार्ग समान दशवैकालिक नाम के श्रुतस्कंध की निर्युहणा करेंगे। हे भगवंत ! वो किसके निमित्त से? हे गौतम ! मनक के निमित्त से । ऐसा मानकर कि इस मनक परम्परा
बडे घोर दःख सागर समान यह चार गति स्वरूप संसार सागर में से किस तरह पार पाए? वो भी सर्वज्ञ के उपदेश बिना तो हो ही नहीं सकता । इस सर्वज्ञ का उपदेश पार रहित और दुःख से करके अवगाहन किया जाए वैसा है । अनन्तगमपर्याय से युक्त है । अल्पकाल में इस सर्वज्ञ ने बताए सर्व शास्त्र में अवगाहन नहीं किया जाता । इसलिए हे गौतम ! अतिशय ज्ञानवाले शय्यंभव ऐसा चिन्तवन करेंगे कि, ज्ञानसागर का अन्त नहीं, काल अल्प है, विघ्न कईं हैं, इसलिए जो सारभूत हो वो जिस तरह खारे जल में से हंस मीठा जल ग्रहण करवाता है उस तरह ग्रहण कर लेना।
सूत्र-८१४
उन्होंने इस भव्यात्मा मनक को तत्त्व का परिज्ञान हो ऐसा जानकर पूर्व में से - बड़े शास्त्र में से दशवैकालिक श्रुतस्कंध की निर्युहणा की । उस समय जब बारह अंग और उसके अर्थ का विच्छेद होगा तब दुष्मकाल के अन्तकाल तक दुप्पसह अणगार तक दशवैकालिक सूत्र और अर्थ से पढ़ेंगे, समग्र आगम के सार समान दशवैकालिक श्रुतस्कंध सूत्र से पढ़ेंगे । हे गौतम ! यह दुप्पसह अणगार भी उस दशवैकालिक सूत्र में रहे अर्थ के अनुसार प्रतवेंगे लेकिन अपनी मतिकल्पना करके कैसे भी स्वच्छंद आचार में नहीं प्रवर्तेगे । उस दशवैकालिक

O Bhagavan! Uttsarga has prohibited the movement of eight sadhus or four sadhus with an exception. Among them, the great-souled, great-virtuous Duppasaha Anagara, whose Darshana, Jnana, and Charitra are extremely pure, who has well seen the path of good destiny, will be like the spotless moon in the cloudless, clear sky, venerable even among the venerable, most worshippable even among the worshippable.
And that Sadhvi Vishnu Shri will be like a flag of Samyaktva, Jnana, and Charitra, great-souled, great-virtuous, great-noble, endowed with such qualities that one can easily remember her name. And then there will be a couple of Shravaka-Shravika named Jinadata and Phalguśri, whose virtues will be such that they can be described for many days. Their lifespan will be more than sixteen years. After observing the eight-year Charitra-paryaya, then after repenting for the sins, becoming free from bondage, and being devoted to the remembrance of Namaskara, by observing the Upavasa-bhakta-bhojana-pratyakhyana, they will attain Saudharma-kalpa. O Bhagavan! Why is it said so, that even then there will be no violation of the Gaccha system? O Gautama! Here, in the near future, there will be great ascetics named Shayambhava, who will possess great fame, great virtue, great nobility, and great intellect, and will hold the knowledge of the twelve Angas like a mountain. They, being impartial, will, through the excellence of knowledge, extract the essence of the Dasavaikālika Shruta-skandha, which is similar to the supreme essence and cream, for the benefit of the short-lived, virtuous beings. O Bhagavan! For whose sake? O Gautama! For the sake of Manak. Considering that this lineage of Manak, which is like a vast and terrible ocean of suffering, how can it cross this ocean-like Samsara of four Gatis? This is not possible without the teaching of the Omniscient. The teaching of this Omniscient is such that it enables crossing beyond and frees from suffering. It is endowed with infinite gati-paryayas. In a short time, one does not attain the immersion in all the scriptures taught by this Omniscient. Therefore, O Gautama! The highly knowledgeable Shayambhava will contemplate that the ocean of knowledge has no end, the time is short, and there are many obstacles, so they will grasp what is essential, just as the swan extracts sweet water from saline water.
Sutra-814
They have extracted the Dasavaikālika Shruta-skandha from the great scriptures, knowing that this virtuous soul, Manak, may gain the knowledge of the principles. At the time when the twelve Angas and their meanings will be divided, the Duppasaha Anagaras until the end of the Dushama-kala will study the Dasavaikālika Sutras and their meanings, studying the Dasavaikālika Shruta-skandha, which is like the essence of the entire Agama. O Gautama! These Duppasaha Anagaras will also follow the meaning of that Dasavaikālika, but they will not engage in any self-willed conduct.
