अध्ययन/उद्देश/सूत्रांक सम्बन्ध इकट्ठे करके जो किसी सम्बन्ध रखते थे, वो यहाँ लिखे हैं, लेकिन खुद कहा हुआ कुछ भी रखा नहीं है। सूत्र- ६५०-६५२
अति विशाल ऐसे यह पाँच पाप जिसे वर्जन नहीं किया, वो हे गौतम ! जिस तरह सुमति नाम के श्रावक ने कुशील आदि के साथ संलाप आदि पाप करके भव में भ्रमण किया वैसे वो भी भ्रमण करेंगे।
भवस्थिति कायस्थितिवाले संसार से घोर दुःख में पड़े बोधि, अहिंसा आदि लक्षणयुक्त दश तरह का धर्म नहीं पा सकता । ऋषि के आश्रम में और भिल्ल के घर में रहे तोते की तरह संसर्ग के गुणदोष से एक मीठा बोलना शीख गया और दूसरा संसर्ग दोष से अपशब्द बोलना शीख गया । हे गौतम ! जिस तरह दोनों तोते को संसर्ग दोष का नतीजा मिला उसी तरह आत्महित की ईच्छावाले को इस पंछी की हकीकत जानकर सर्व उपाय से कुशील का संसर्ग सर्वथा त्याग करना चाहिए।
