आगम सूत्र ३९, छेदसूत्र-५, 'महानिशीथ'
अध्ययन/उद्देश/सूत्रांक रहता था । नियंत्रित किए अंगवाला, हर एक योनिवाले गर्भावास में पुनः पुनः भ्रमण करता था, अब मुजे संतापउद्वेग जन्मजरा मरण गर्भावास आदि संसार के दुःख और संसार की विचित्रता से भयभीत होनेवाले ने इस समग्र भय को नष्ट करनेवाले भावस्तव के प्रभाव को जानकर उसके लिए दृढ़पन से अति उद्यम और प्रवृत्ति करनी चाहिए सूत्र - ५६१
उस प्रकार विद्याधर, किन्नर, मानव, देव असुरवाले जगत ने तीन भुवन में उत्कृष्ट ऐसे जिनेश्वर की द्रव्यस्तव और भावस्तव ऐसे दो तरह से स्तुति की है। सूत्र-५६२-५६९
हे गौतम ! धर्म तीर्थंकर भगवंत, अरिहंत, जिनेश्वर जो विस्तारवाली ऋद्धि पाए हुए हैं । ऐसी समृद्धि स्वाधीन फिर भी जगत् बन्धु पलभर उसमें मन से भी लुभाए नहीं। उनका परमैश्वर्य रूप शोभायमय लावण्य, वर्ण, बल, शरीर प्रमाण, सामर्थ्य, यश, कीर्ति जिस तरह देवलोक में से च्यवकर यहाँ अवतरे, जिस तरह दूसरे भव में, उग्र तप करके देवलोक पाया । एक आदि विशस्थानक की आराधना करके जिस तरह तीर्थंकर नामकर्म बाँधा, जिस तरह सम्यक्त्व पाया । बाकी भव में श्रमणपन की आराधना की, सिद्धार्थ राजा की रानी त्रिशला को चौदह महा सपने की जिस तरह प्राप्ति हुई । जिस तरह गर्भावास में से अशुभ अशुचि चीज का दूर होना और सुगंधी सुवास स्थापन किया । इन्द्र राजा ने बड़ी भक्ति से अंगूठे के पर्व में अमृताहार का न्यास किया । जन्म हुआ तब तक भगवंत की इन्द्रादिक स्तवना करते थे और फिर जिस प्रकार दिशिकुमारी ने आकर जन्म सम्बन्धी सूतिकर्म किए । बत्तीस देवेन्द्र गौरववाली भक्ति से महा आनन्द सहित सर्व ऋद्धि से सर्व तरह के अपने कर्तव्य जिस तरह से पूरे किए, मेरु पर्वत के शिखर पर प्रभु का जन्माभिषेक करते थे तब रोमांच रूप कंचुक से पुलकित हुए देहवाले, भक्तिपूर्ण, गात्रवाले ऐसा सोचने लगे कि वाकई हमारा जन्म कृतार्थ हुआ । सूत्र - ५७०-५७९
पलभर हाथ हिलाना, सुन्दर स्वर में गाना, गम्भीर दुंदुभि का शब्द करते, क्षीर समुद्र में से जैसे शब्द प्रकट हो वैसे जय जय करनेवाले मंगल शब्द मुख से नीकलते थे और जिस तरह दो हाथ जोड़कर अंजलि करते थे, जिस तरह क्षीर सागर के जल से कईं खुशबूदार चीज की खुशबू से सुवासित किए गए सुवर्ण मणिरत्न के बनाए हुए ऊंचे कलश से जन्माभिषेक महोत्सव देव करते थे, जिस तरह जिनेश्वर ने पर्वत को चलायमान किया । जिस तरह भगवंत आठ साल के थे फिर भी 'इन्द्र व्याकरण'' बनाया । जिस तरह कुमारपन बिताया, शादी करनी पड़ी। जिस तरह लोकांतिक देव ने प्रतिबोध किया । जिस तरह हर्षित सर्व देव और असुर ने भगवान की दीक्षा का महोत्सव किया, जिस तरह दिव्य मनुष्य और तिर्यंच सम्बन्धी घोर परिषह सहन किए । जिस तरह घोर तपस्या ध्यान योग से अग्नि से चार घनघाती कर्म जला दिए । जिस तरह लोकालोक को प्रकाशित करनेवाला केवलज्ञान उपार्जन किया, फिर से भी जिस तरह देव और असुर ने केवलज्ञान की महिमा करके धर्म, नीति, तप, चारित्र विषयक संशय पूछे । देव के तैयार किए हुए सिंहासन पर बिराजमान होकर जिस तरह श्रेष्ठ समवसरण तैयार किया । जिस तरह देव उनकी ऋद्धि और जगत की ऋद्धि दोनों की तुलना करते थे । समग्र भुवन के एक गुरु महायशवाले अरिहंत भगवंत ने जहाँ जहाँ जिस तरह विचरण किया । जिस तरह आठ महाप्रतिहार्य के सुंदर चिन्ह जिन तीर्थ में होते हैं । जिस तरह भव्य जीव के अनादिकाल के चिकने मिथ्यात्त्व के समग्र कर्म को निर्दलन करते हैं, जिस तरह प्रतिबोध करके मार्ग में स्थापन करके गणधर को दीक्षित करते हैं । और फिर महाबुद्धिवाले वो सूत्र बुनते हैं । जिस तरह जिनेन्द्र अनन्तगम पर्याय-समग्र अर्थ गणधर को कहते हैं। सूत्र-५८०-५८५
