जो केवल मुष्ठि के प्रहार से मेरु के टुकड़े कर देते हैं, पृथ्वी को पी जाते हैं, इन्द्र को स्वर्ग से बेदखल कर सकते हैं, पलभर में तीनों भुवन का भी शिव कल्याण करनेवाले होते हैं लेकिन ऐसा भी अक्षत शीलवाले की तुलना में नहीं आ सकता । वाकई वो ही उत्पन्न हुआ है ऐसा माना जाता है, वो तीनों भुवन को वंदन करने के लायक है, वो पुरुष हो या स्त्री, कोई भी हो जिस कुल में जन्म लेकर शील का खंडन नहीं करता । परम पवित्र सत्पुरुष से सेवित, समग्र पाप को नष्ट करनेवाला, सर्वोत्तम सुख का भंडार ऐसे सतरह तरह के शील का जय हो । ऐसा बोलकर हे गौतम ! प्रवचन देवताओं ने कुमार पर पुष्प की वृष्टि की, फिर देवता कहने लगे कि - सूत्र-१५०४-१५०६
___ जगत के अज्ञानी आत्मा आपने कर्म से कषाय या दुःखी हुए हो तो देव भाग्य या देवता को दोष देते हैं । अपनी आत्मा को गुण में स्थापित नहीं करता । दुःख के समय समता में रमण नहीं करता । सुख फिझूल या मुक्त में मिल जाए ऐसी तरकीब बनाते हैं । यह देव-भाग्य मध्यस्थ भाव में रहनेवाले, हरएक को एक नजर से देखनेवाले
और उसमें सर्व लोक भरोसा रखनेवाले होते हैं । जो कुछ भी कर्मानुसार प्राप्त होता है और उसका निक्षेप या त्याग देव नहीं करवाते । तो अब तुम सर्वजन बोध पाओ । और सर्वोत्तम शील गुण से महर्द्धिक ऐसे कुमार के चरण कमल में तामस भाव रहित होकर प्रणाम करो। ऐसा कहकर देवता अदृश्य हो गए। सूत्र-१५०७
यह अवसर देखकर उस चतुर राजपुरुषने जल्द राजा के पास पहुँचकर देखा हुआ वृत्तान्त निवेदन किया। उसे सुनकर कईं विकल्प रूप तरंगमाला से पूरे होनेवाले हृदयसागरवाला हर्ष और विषाद पाने से भय सहित खड़ा हो गया । त्रास और विस्मययुक्त हृदयवाला राजा धीरे-धीरे गुप्त सुरंग के छोटे द्वार से कंपते सर्वगात्रवाले महाकौतुक से कुमार दर्शन की काफी उत्कंठावाले प्रदेश में आया सुगृहीत नामवाले महायशस्वी महासत्त्ववाले महानुभाव कुमार के राजा ने दर्शन किए । अप्रतिपाति महाअवधिज्ञान के प्रत्यय से अनगिनत भव के महसूस किए हुए सुख दुःख सम्यक्त्वादि की प्राप्ति, संसार, स्वभाव, कर्मबंध, उसकी दशा, उससे मुक्ति कैसे मिले ? वैर बन्धवाले राजादि को अहिंसा लक्षण धर्म उपदेश दिया।
सुखपूर्वक बैठे सौधर्मापति इन्द्र महाराजाने मस्तक पर रखे श्वेत छत्रवाले कुमार को देखकर पहले कभी भी न देखा हुआ ऐसा ताज्जुब देखकर परिवार सहित वो राजाने प्रतिबोध पाया और दीक्षा अंगीकार की । शत्रु चक्राधिपति राजा को भी प्रतिबोध हुआ और दीक्षा अंगीकार की। इस समय चार निकाय के देवने सुन्दर स्वरवाली गम्भीर दुंदुभि का बड़ा शब्द किया और फिर उद्घोषणा की। सूत्र - १५०८-१५०९
हे कर्म की आँठ गठान के टुकड़े करनेवाले ! परमेष्ठिन् ! महायशवाले ! चारित्र दर्शन ज्ञान सहित तुम्हारी जय हो । इस जगतमें एक वो माता हर पल वंदनीय है जिसके उदर में मेरु पर्वत समान महामुनि उत्पन्न होकर बसे। सूत्र - १५१०
ऐसा कहकर सुगंधीदार पुष्प की वृष्टि छोड़ते भक्तिपूर्ण हृदयवाले हस्तकमल की अंजलि रचाकर इन्द्र सहित देव समुदाय आकाश में से नीचे उतर आए । उस के बाद कुमार के चरणकमल के पास देवसुंदरीओने नृत्य किया । फिर स्तवना की । नमस्कार करके लम्बे अरसे तक पर्युपासना करके देवसमुदाय अपने स्थानक पर गए। सूत्र-१५११
