आगम सूत्र ३९, छेदसूत्र-५, 'महानिशीथ'
अध्ययन/उद्देश/सूत्रांक जो अंतराय कर्म उपार्जन किया उस कर्म की वजह से लक्ष्मणा के जीव ने कोड़ाकोड़ी भवांतर तक स्तनपान प्राप्त न किया । रस्सी से बँधा हुआ, रूकते हुए, बेड़ी से जकड़े हुए, दमन करते हुए माँ आदि के साथ वियोग पाते हुए भव में काफी भटका, उसके बाद मानव योनि में डाकण स्त्री के रूप में पैदा हुआ । वहाँ श्वानपालक उसे घायल करके चले गए। वहाँ से मरकर यहाँ मनुष्यत्व प्राप्त कर के शरीर के दोष से इस महापृथ्वी मंडल में पाँच घरवाले गाँव में - नगर शहर या पट्टण में एक प्होर आधा प्होर एक पल भी सुख न पाया। सूत्र - १२२७-१२३२
हे गौतम ! उस मानव में भी नारकी के दुःख समान कईं रूलानेवाले घोर दुःख महसूस करके उस लक्ष्मणा देवी का जीव अति रौद्र ध्यान के दोष से मरकर सातवीं नारक पृथ्वी में खड़ाहड़ नाम के नरकावास में पैदा हुआ। वहाँ उस तरह के महादुःख का अहेसास करके तेंतीस सागरोपम की आयु पूर्ण करके वंध्या गाय के रूप में पैदा हुआ । पराये खेतर और आँगन में घुसकर उसका नुकसान करते हुए झाड़ी तोड़कर चारा खाती थी । तब कईं लोग ईकट्ठे होकर नीकल न सके वैसे कीचड़वाली जगह में ले गए, इसलिए उसमें फँस गई और अब बाहर नहीं नीकल सकती । उसमें फँसी हुई वो बेचारी, गाय को जलचर जीव खाते थे । और कौए-गीधड़ चोंच से मारते थे । क्रोध से व्याप्त उस गाय का जीव मरकर जल और धान्य रहित मारवाड़ देश के रण में दृष्टिविष साँप के रूप में पैदा हुआ। वो सर्प के भव में से फिर पाँचवी नरक पृथ्वी में पहुंचा। सूत्र - १२३३-१२३९
उस प्रकार लक्ष्मणा साध्वी का जीव हे गौतम ! लम्बे अरसे तक कठिन घोर दुःख भुगतते हए चार गति रूप संसार में नारकी तिर्यंच और कुमानवपन में भ्रमण करके फिर से यहाँ श्रेणीक राजा का जीव जो आनेवाली चौबीसी में पद्मनाभ के पहले तीर्थंकर होंगे उनके तीर्थ में कुब्जिका के रूप में पैदा होगा । शरीरसीबी की खाण समान गाँव में या अपनी माँ को देखने से आनन्द देनेवाली नहीं होगी उस वक्त सब लोग यह उद्वेग करवानेवाली है, ऐसा सोचकर मेशगेरू के लेप का शरीर पर विलेपन करके गधे पर सवार होकर भ्रमण करवाएंगे और फिर उसके शरीर पर दोनों ओर पंछी के पीछे लगाएंगे, खोखरे शब्दवाला डिडिम के आगे बजाएंगे एक गाँव में घुमाकर गाँव में से दूसरी जगह जाने के लिए नीकाल देंगे और फिर से गाँव में प्रवेश नहीं कर सकेंगे। तब अरण्य में वास करते हुए वो कंद-फल का आहार करती रहेगी । नाभि के बीच में झहरीले छू दर के इँसने से दर्द से परेशान होनेवाली वो पूरे शरीर पर गुमड़, दराज, खाज आदि चमड़ी की व्याधि पैदा होगी । उसे खुजलाते हुए वो घोर दुःसह, दुःख का अहेसास करेगी। सूत्र- १२४०-१२४१
वेदना भुगतती होगी तब पद्मनाभ तीर्थंकर भगवंत वहाँ समवसरण करेंगे और वो उनका दर्शन करेंगे इसलिए तुरन्त ही उसके और दूसरे उस देश में रहे भव्य जीव और नारी कि जिसके शरीर भी व्याधि और वेदना से व्याप्त होंगे वो सभी समुदाय के व्याधि तीर्थंकर भगवंत के दर्शन से दूर होंगे। उसके साथ लक्ष्मणा साध्वी का जीव जो कुब्जिका है वो घोर तप का सेवन करके दुःख का अंत पाएंगे। सूत्र - १२४२
हे गौतम ! यह वो लक्ष्मणा आर्या है कि जिसने अगीतार्थपन के दोष से अल्प कलुषता युक्त चित्त के दुःख की परम्परा पाई। सूत्र - १२४३-१२४४
हे गौतम ! जिस प्रकार यह लक्ष्मणा आर्या ने दुःख परम्परा पाई उसके अनुसार कलुषित चित्तवाले अनन्त अगीतार्थ दुःख की परम्परा पाने के लिए यह समझकर सर्व भाव से सर्वथा गीतार्थ होना या अगीतार्थ के साथ उनकी आज्ञा में रहना और काफी शुद्ध सुनिर्मल विमल शल्य रहित निष्कलुष मनवाला होना, उस प्रकार भगवंत

Then, living in the forest, it will eat roots and fruits. Due to the sting of a poisonous insect in the middle of its navel, it will suffer pain and develop skin diseases like scabies, eczema, and itch all over its body.
