Sutra
Agam Sutra 28, Paryannasūtra-5, 'Tandulavaicārikā' Sutra-105
This body, the skull, the marrow, the flesh, the bones, the brain, the blood, the phlegm, the skin, the nasal mucus, and the excrement is the abode. This skull, the eyes, the ears, the lips, the forehead, the soles, etc. are unpleasant excretory substances. The lips are made slippery by excessive saliva, the mouth is sweaty, the teeth are stained by excrement, and it appears repulsive to see. The hands, fingers, thumbs, and nails are connected by joints. It is the abode of many liquid secretions. This body is bound by the veins of the pillar, many blood vessels, and numerous joints. On the forehead, it is like a cracked pot; the belly is like the hollow of a dried tree; the hairy, unsightly abdominal region; the bones and the mass of blood vessels - from all these and from all the pores, impure and foul-smelling sweat is naturally oozing out. In it, there are the hidden fleshy masses of the liver, the bile, the heart, the lungs, the spleen, the stomach, etc., and the nine orifices that discharge impurities. In it, there is the heart that makes a throbbing sound. It is the abode of the foul-smelling bile, phlegm, urine, and medicines. The thigh, the leg, and the feet are connected by joints; the flesh is impure and perishable due to its foul odor. Thus, thinking and seeing the form, one should know that this body is impermanent, transitory, non-eternal, subject to decay and destruction, and is sure to perish sooner or later. Such is the body of all human beings. Sutra - 106
In the mother's womb, it lives for nine months, drinking the impure fluid generated from the semen and blood. Sutra - 107
How can this body, which is naturally impure and full of excrement, be cleansed after it has come out of the vulva and grown by sucking the breast? Sutra - 108
Alas! Born in impurity and from where that human being came out. It indulges in sensual pleasures in that very impure vulva. Sutra - 109
Then, why do thousands of poets ceaselessly describe the impure vulva of a woman? They become foolish out of self-interest. Sutra - 110
The poor fellows, due to attachment, do not know that this vulva is a mass of impure excrement. Therefore, they describe it as being like a fully blossomed blue lotus. Sutra - 111
How much more can be said? One should not be attached to the body, which is full of abundant fat, extremely impure excrement, and is worthy of disgust. Sutra - 112
Attain dispassion towards this body, which is infested with hundreds of worms, pervaded by impure excrement, impure, non-eternal, devoid of essence, foul-smelling, and stained by sweat and excrement. Sutra - 113
This body is full of the dirt of the teeth, ears, nose, and abundant saliva in the mouth - such a repulsive and detestable body, how can one be attached to it? Sutra - 114
Who will desire a body that is subject to decay, putrefaction, destruction, and annihilation, and is painful like a rotten piece of wood?
