Verses 233,234
तावद् दुःखाग्नितप्तात्मायः पिण्डः सुखसीकरैः । निर्वासि निर्वृताम्भोधौ यावत्त्वं न निमज्जसि ॥२३३॥
अर्थ - हे भव्य! जब तक तू मोक्ष-सुखरूप समुद्र में नहीं निमग्न होता है तब तक तू दुःखरूप अग्नि से तपे हुए लोहे के गोले के समान विषयजनित क्षणिक लेशमात्र सुख से सुखी नहीं हो सकता है।
As long as you do not get immersed in the ocean that is the happiness of liberation, you, like the red-hot iron-ball of misery, cannot get happiness just by momentary sprinkling of the pleasures of the senses.
मङ्क्ष मोक्षं सुसम्यक्त्वसत्यंकारस्वसात्कृतम् । ज्ञानचारित्रसाकल्यमूल्येन स्वकरे कुरु ॥२३४॥
अर्थ - हे भव्य! तू निर्मल सम्यग्दर्शन-रूप ब्याना देकर अपने आधीन किये हुए मोक्ष को सम्यग्ज्ञान और सम्यक्चारित्र-रूप पूरा मूल्य देकर शीघ्र ही अपने हाथ में कर ले।
O worthy soul! By paying the earnest money in form of right faith (samyagdarśana), you have booked liberation. Now, by promptly paying the balance amount in form of right knowledge (samyagjñāna) and right conduct (samyakcāritra), take its possession.
