So, they grew new forms like the horseshoe, multi-thwart, pointed, and ogee curve, which was urgent for architectural progression. Muslims were so certain of their mastery of the curve that they did some spectacular experiments with forms and techniques of its construction - one of these was the intersecting arches, which gave an extra structural element.
