ઉપસંહારઃ કુલગીના ષડુ લક્ષણ, પ્રવૃત્તચકનું સવરૂપ
प्रवृत्तचक्रास्तु पुनर्यमद्वयसमाश्रयाः । शेषद्वयार्थिनोऽत्यन्तं शुश्रूषादिगुणान्विताः॥२१२॥ પ્રવૃત્તચક તે પ્રથમ, યમય આશ્રયવંત; બાકી બે અતિ ઈચ્છતા, શુશ્રુષાદિ ગુણવંત, ૨૧૨
અર્થ અને પ્રવૃત્તચક્ર યોગી તે બે પ્રકારના યમને સમાશ્રય કરનારા, તથા બાકીના બે પ્રકારના યમના અર્થી, તેમજ શુશ્રષા આદિ ગુણથી યુક્ત, એવા હોય છે.
- વિવેચન શુશ્રુષાદિક અડ ગુણ સંપૂરણ, પ્રવૃત્તચક તે કહિયેજી; ચમકયલાભી પર દુગ અર્થ, આદ્ય અવંચક લહિયે.”—ગ દ, સક્ઝા. ૮-૫
પ્રવૃત્તચક તે પુનઃ કેવા વિશિષ્ટ હોય છે તે કહે છે–(૧) તેઓ યમદ્રયને સમાશ્રય કરનારા, એટલે કે ઈચ્છાયામ અને પ્રવૃત્તિયમ એ બે યમને સમ્યફ આશ્રય કરનાર હોય છે. તથા-(૨) બાકીના બે યમના અર્થી-સ્થિરયમ અને સિદ્ધિયમના અથી અત્યંતપણે હોય છે. આમ સદુપાયપ્રવૃત્તિને લીધે હોય છે. એટલા માટે જ(૩) તેઓ શુશ્રુષાદિ આઠ ગુણથી યુક્ત હોય છે, શુશ્રુષા, શ્રવણ, ગ્રહણ, ધારણ, વિજ્ઞાન, હા, અપહ અને તત્ત્વાભિનિવેશ—એ આઠ ગુણથી યુક્ત હોય છે.
પ્રવૃત્તચક” એટલે શું? જેનું ચકે પ્રવૃત્ત થયું છે તે પ્રવૃત્તચક. અને અત્રે ગ–ચક જ પ્રસ્તુત છે. એટલે જેનું આખું યોગચક પ્રવૃત્ત થયું છે ચાલવા માંડયું છે,
તે પ્રવૃત્તચક્ર ગી છે. જેમ ચક્રના કેઈ એક દેશને દંડથી પ્રેરવામાં પ્રવૃત્તચક્ર આવતાં–ચલાવવામાં આવતાં, આખું ચક એની મેળે (Autoએટલે શું ? matically ) ચાલવા માંડે છે તેમ આ ગચકના કેઈ એક દેશને
સ્પર્શવામાં આવતાં–પ્રેરવામાં આવતાં, આખું ગચક આપોઆપ પ્રવૃત્ત થાય છે ચાલવા માંડે છે. આ સાવ સાદી પણ પરમ આશ્ચર્યકારક સત્ય ઘટના છે. ચક્રને ચલાવવા માટે કાંઈ આખા ચક્રને હાથ લગાડ પડતું નથી, પણ કોઈ એક દેશે હાથે (Handle) હલાવવાથી આખું ચક્ર ગતિમાન થાય છે, તેમ આ ગચક્રને ચલાવવા માટે કાંઈ આખા ચક્રને હાથ લગાડવો પડતો નથી, પણ તેના કેઈ એક
