ગદરિસમુચ્ચય ત્રિદોષ સ્વરૂપ પદમાં સ્થિતિરૂપ કઈ ઠેકાણું રહેતું નથી, સ્વરૂપભ્રષ્ટતાથી ઉન્માદાદિ સ્વરૂપ કેદ્ર ખસી જાય છે, આત્મા પોતે પિતાના સહજ નિજ સ્વરૂપનું
ભાન ભૂલી જાય છે, ઉન્મત્ત “ચક્રમ’ બનીને પરવસ્તુને પિતાની કહેવારૂપ યદ્વાઢા પ્રલાપ-અકબકાટ કરે છે, અને મેહ-રાગ-દ્વેષરૂપી ત્રિદેષની વૃદ્ધિથી સસ્વરૂપથી નિપાતરૂપ સન્નિપાતને પામે છે. (૮) રેગથી જેમ ખસ થાય છે ને ખૂજલી-મીઠી ચળ ઉપડે છે, અને તેથી પરિણામે લાહ્ય બળે છે, તેમ ભવરોગથી વિષયવિકારરૂપ ખસ થાય છે ને ભોગેચ્છારૂપ ખજવાળ-મીઠી ચળ-“કં' આવે છે, ને તેથી પરિણામે ભવભેગરૂપ લાહ્ય બળ્યા કરે છે. (૯) રેગથી જેમ શરીરમાં ઉગ્ર-આકરે તાવ ભરાય છે અને ભારી તરસ લાગે છે, તેમ ભવગાથી રાગરૂપ ઉગ્ર જવર ભરાય છે અને વિષયતૃષ્ણારૂપ ભારી તૃષા ઉપજે છે. (૧૦) વળી રેગથી જેમ વિવિધ વિકારો ઉભરી આવે છે, તેમ ભવરેગથી જન્મ-મરણાદિ વિકારે ઉપજે છે. ફરી ફરીને જન્મવું, ફરી ફરીને મરવું, ફરી ફરીને માતાના ઉદરમાં શયન કરવું, ફરી ફરી ઘડ૫ણ, રેગ, શેક, ચિંતા, દૌભાંગ્ય, દારિદ્ર આદિ દુઃખ અનુભવવું,-એ બધા ભવરગના વિકાર છે.
(૧૧) રેગથી જેમ વિચિત્ર પ્રકારનો મેહ ઉપજે છે, તેમ ભવરોગથી વિચિત્ર પ્રકારને મેહ ઉપજે છે. રોગથી જેમ કમળારૂપ પિત્તવિકારને લીધે ઘળી વસ્તુ પણ
પીળી દેખાવારૂપ દષ્ટિદોષ થાય છે, તેમ ભવરેગથી મિથ્યાત્વ ઉદયને વિચિત્ર મેહ લીધે અસતમાં સબુદ્ધિ ને સમાં અસંતબુદ્ધિરૂપ દષ્ટિદેષઆદિ દર્શનમોહ ઉપજે છે. રેગથી જેમ રંગાકુલ દરદી પોતે પોતાનું ભાન
- ભૂલી જાય છે, તેમ ભવરેગા જંતુને આત્માના સ્વસ્વરૂપનું ભાન રહેતું નથી. બેભાનપણમાં જેમ દરદી પિતાની વસ્તુને પારકી ને પારકી વસ્તુને પોતાની કહેવારૂપ બ્રાંતિને સેવે છે, તેમ આત્મસ્વરૂપના અભાનપણમાં ભવરગી પરવસ્તુને પિતાની ને સ્વવસ્તુને પારકી ગણવારૂપ મિથ્યા ભ્રાંતિને સેવે છે. (૧૨) રોગી જેમ પોતાની મૂળ આરોગ્યમય અસલ સ્વભાવસ્થિતિમાં હોતો નથી, પણ રોગકૃત વિકૃત અવસ્થામાં હોય છે, તેમ ભવરોગી પિતાની મૂળ અસલ સહજ સ્વભાવસ્થિતિમાં વર્નાતે નથી, પણ ભવગકૃત વિભાવરૂપ વિકૃત દશામાં વત્તો હોય છે. (૧૩) રોગથી મુંઝાઈ ગયેલા–મેહમૂઢ રેગીનું આચરણ જેમ વિષમ હોય છે, તેમ ભવરોગથી મેહિત થયેલા-મુંઝાઈ ગયેલા મેહમૂઢ જીવનું આચરણ પણ મહામેહમય વિષમ હોય છે, સ્વભાવથી વિપરીત હોય છે. (૧૪) રેગથી જેમ સ્વભાવ ચીઢીયે થઈ જવાથી દરદી વાતવાતમાં ચીઢાઈ જાય છે, તેમ ભવરોગથી ચીઢીયે થઈ ગયેલ આ ભવરોગી પણ વાતવાતમાં ક્રોધાદિ કષાયાકુલ થઈ આવેશમાં આવી જાય છે ! “કમ જોર ને ગુસ્સા હોત” કરે છે ! (૧૫) રોગથી જેમ શરીરે તીવ્ર વેદના-પીડા ઉપજે છે, તેમ ભવરેગથી આત્માને સ્ત્રી આદિ પ્રત્યેના આસક્તિભાવને લીધે રાગદ્વેષાદિ તીવ્ર વેદના ઉપડે છે.-આમ અમુક અમુક ચોક્કસ ચિહ્નો પરથી
