હમાદ્ધિ: રાવણની અવધ્ય દેશના
(૪૧૭) અને તે ઉપકાર, સાંભળનારનું જેવું જેવું ભવ્યત્વ–ોગ્યપણું હોય તે સર્વજ્ઞની પ્રમાણે થાય છે. જેવી જેવી જેની જેની યોગ્યતા–પાત્રતા છે, તે અવંધ્ય દેશના તે તેને તેને ઉપકાર થાય છે, ગુણ ઉપજે છે, આત્મલાભ થાય
છે. જેવી જેવી જેની જેની ઝલવાની શક્તિ, જે જે જેને ક્ષયોપશમવિશેષ, તે તે બધું તે ઝીલે છે. જેમ કેઈ અમૃતસરોવર ભર્યું હોય, તેમાંથી જેવડું પાત્ર હોય, તેવડું પાત્રપ્રમાણ ગ્રહણ થાય છે તેમ આ સર્વજ્ઞ વચનામૃત સાગરમાંથી તથાવિધ પાત્રપ્રમાણ ગ્રહણ થાય છે. તે અમૃતસિંધુમાંથી જેનાથી જેટલું બને તેટલું યથાશક્તિ અમૃતપાન યથેચ૭પણે સર્વ કઈ શ્રોતા કરે છે, અને તેથી તેને તથા પ્રકારને આત્મગુણ થાય છે, તે ચેકસ.
ભવ ઉપાધિ ગદ ટાળવા, પ્રભુજી છે વૈદ્ય અમેઘ રે; રત્નત્રયી ઔષધ કરી, તમે તાર્યા ભવિજન ઓઘ રે.

જેને લાગુ પડ્યો છે, એવા આ ભવ્ય શ્રોતાજનેને શ્રી સર્વજ્ઞરૂપ પરમ ઔષધને ગુણક સદ્યને જગ લાવ્યો છે, ને તેઓએ પ્રોજેલી પરમ ઔષધિરૂપ વિદેષને નાશ અમૃતવાણી કાને પડી છે, તો પછી તેઓને તે રેગ કેમ ન મટે? કેમ
ન હઠે? રોગીને રોગ હઠે છે કે નહિં, તેને ગુણ થાય છે કે નહિ, તે તેના દોષ દૂર થવારૂપ ચિથી પરખાય છે. જેમ વાત, પિત્ત ને કફની વિષમતાથી ઉપજેલા ત્રિદોષથી કોઈ પીડાતે હોય, તેને ઔષધ આપવામાં આવતાં જે તેનો ત્રિદેષ દૂર થતે દેખાય તે સમજવું કે આ ઔષધથી તેને ગુણ થયે; તેમ આ ભવરોગી રાગ, દ્વેષ ને મેહરૂપ ત્રિદોષ સન્નિપાતથી પીડાઈ રહ્યો છે, તેને આ રાગ-દ્વેષ–મેહરૂપ ત્રિદેવ જે પરમ શાંત રસમૂળ સર્વજ્ઞ વચનામૃત થી દૂર થયે, વા એ છે થયે, તે જાણવું કે આ ઔષધને આ ગુણ છે. અને આ સર્વજ્ઞ વચનામૃત શ્રવણથી તે તે શ્રોતાના રાગ-દ્વેષ–મેહરૂપ ત્રિદોષ અવશ્ય દૂર થાય છે, દૂર હટે છે, માળા પડે છે, એ નિશ્ચિત છે. એમ કહેવાય છે કે, સર્વદેશના સાંભળી મેહપટલ દૂર થતાં કંઈક જીવને સર્વવિરતિ પરિણામ-ભાવ ઉપજે છે, કંઈક છે દેશવિરતિભાવને પામે છે. કંઈક ને સમ્યગદર્શન સાંપડે છે, અને કંઈક જ શુભભાવમાં સ્થિતિ કરે છે.
