ગદક્ટિસમુચ્ચય બનાવે છે. જેવી રીતે પિતાના સમગ્ર જળરાશિને લઈ ગંગા સમુદ્રમાં ગુરુસેવાની મળે છે, કિંવા શ્રુતિ બ્રહ્મપદમાં પ્રવિષ્ટ થાય છે, અથવા પતિવ્રતા સ્ત્રી પ્રશંસા પિતાનું જીવિત અને પોતાના ગુણાવગુણ સર્વ પોતાના પ્રિયતમ પતિને
સમપી દે છે, તે જ પ્રમાણે પોતાનું અંતાકરણ આંતર્બાહ્ય, ગુરુકુળમાં અર્પણ કરી દીધું છે, અને પિતાના શરીરને ગુરુકુળના આગારરૂપ બનાવ્યું છે.—ગુરુકુળમાં જેની એવી અનન્ય પ્રીતિ રહેલી તારા જોવામાં આવે, તેની આગળ જ્ઞાન તેની સેવા કરતું ઉભેલું હોય છે. ગુરુકૃપા જ અમૃતની વૃષ્ટિ છે, અને આપણે ગુરુસેવા વૃત્તિરૂપ રેપા છીએ.” ઇત્યાદિ.
“આવા પવિત્ર સત્પાત્રની આપણે શોધી શોધી અન્ન-પાન-વસ્ત્ર-પાત્ર-ઔષધ-આવાસ આદિવડે સંભાળ લેવી જોઈએ; તેઓની ભક્તિ-શુશ્રષા કરવી જોઈએ. એવા સુપાત્ર છે, જેઓ કેવળ પોતાના અને પારકા જીના હિતમાં જ પ્રવત્તી રહ્યા છે, અને જેઓ પોતાના દેહની પણ અપેક્ષા નથી રાખતા, તેવા મહાપુરુષોને દાન દઈ તેઓની ભક્તિ કરી, તેઓને યેગ મેળવી, મારી શક્તિઓને લાભ તેઓને આપી અહો ! હું ક્યારે કૃતાર્થ થઈશ? એવી સદ્ભાવના આપણે સદા ભાવવી ઘટે છે. *

કરુણસિંધુ સદ્દગુરુ ભગવાને આ હું પામર પર પરમ આશ્ચર્યકારક શું પ્રભુચરણ ઉપકાર કર્યો છે! હું તે ઉપકારને બદલે વાળવા સર્વથા અસમર્થ છું, કને ધરૂં? તે પછી હું આ પ્રભુને ચરણે શું ધરૂં? કારણ કે આત્માથી બીજી
બધી વસ્તુ ઉતરતી છે અને તે આત્મા તે આ પ્રભુએ જ મને આ છે, માટે એમના ચરણાધીનપણે વસ્તુ એ જ એક ઉપાય છે. એમ ચિંતવી તે સદ્ગુરુચરણે આત્મા પણ કરે છે–આત્મનિવેદન કરે છે, આજ્ઞાધીન થઈ રહે છે, દાસાનુદાસ ચરણરેણુ બની જાય છે.
“અહો ! અહા ! શ્રી સદ્ગુરુ, કરુણાસિંધુ અપાર;
આ પામર પર પ્રભુ કર્યો, અહો ! અહો! ઉપકાર. શું પ્રભુ ચરણ કને ધરૂં? આત્માથી સૌ હીન; તે તો પ્રભુએ આપિ, વતું ચરણાધીન. આ દેહાદિ આજથી, વત્તા પ્રભુ આધીન દાસ, દાસ, હું દાસ છું, તેહ પ્રભુને દીન.”–શ્રી આત્મસિદ્ધિ

What can I offer? Then what can I offer at the feet of this Lord? Because everything else is inferior to the soul, and this soul has been given to me by this Lord. Therefore, surrendering to his feet is the only remedy." Thinking this, he surrenders his soul to the Sadguru's feet, becomes obedient, and becomes a servant, a servant, and dust of his feet.
