16. Even though the beloved one is discarded, the person devoid of discrimination, blinded by attachment (moha) to her, foolishly considers her as 'this is my beloved'.
17. The body of a woman is covered with skin, and is a repository of flesh, bones, excreta and urine. Yet, the affection towards such repulsive women is merely a manifestation of attachment (mamata).
18. The person attached to possessiveness (mamatavan) calls his child 'my dear' while fondling him. And he considers the finger, smeared with his own saliva, as nectar-like and pleasurable, due to his attachment.
19. The infatuated mother does not leave her child even if he is covered in mud or excreta. She considers him pure due to her attachment (mamattva).
