-: अध्यात्म का माहात्म्य :
ऐन्द्र श्रेणिनतः श्रीमान्नन्दतान्नाभिनन्दनः । उद्दघार युगादौ यो जगदज्ञानपङ्कतः ॥१॥
भावार्थ : जिन्होंने युग के प्रारम्भ में अज्ञानरूप कीचड़ से जगत् को उबारा है; अर्थात् सूर्य के समान जिन्होंने अपने ज्ञान के प्रकाश से जगत् के अज्ञानान्धकार को मिटाया है; वे इन्द्रसमूह द्वारा नमस्कृत श्रीनाभिनन्दन ऋषभदेव भगवान् (मुझ पर) आनन्दित (प्रसन्न ) हों ॥१॥
श्री शान्तिस्तान्तिभिद् भूयाद् भविनां मृगलांछनः । गावः कुवलयोल्लासं कुर्वते यस्य निर्मलाः ॥ २ ॥
भावार्थ : जिनकी निर्मलवाणी सूर्यकिरणों की तरह भव्यजीवरूपी कमलों को प्रफुल्लित करती है, वे मृगलांछन श्रीशान्तिनाथ भगवान् भव्यजीवों के दुःखों का अन्त करें ॥२॥
