________________ PREFACE It is our great pleasure to publish pandit Vamadhvaja's 'Sanketa' commentary on 'Nyayakusumanjali' of the great philosopher Udayanacarya. This commentary was hitherto unpublished. It's only plam-leaf manuscript is preserved at the distinguished manuscript depository 'Hemacandracarya Jaina Jnana Bhandara', Patan in Gujarat. The current commentary is edited through that manuscript. 'Sanketa' is a very lucid commentary on 'Nyayakusumanjali'. Prof. Nagin J. Shah, who is a renowned scholar of Indian Philosophy, is the editor of present work, He has edited and translated a large number of works. The institute is grateful to him for despite his advancing years and frail health he has prepared such an excellent edition.
