ભાઇશંકરે દુનીઆની લીલી સુકી જોઈ હતી અને એમના ધંધાને અંગે જાતજાતના ધંધાદારીઓના સંસર્ગમાં એમને આવવાનું થંતું. તેથી કોઈ કાર્યમાં અંતિમ દરજે તેઓ જતા નહિ. રમણભાઈ માટે તેમને અંગત માન હતું, તેમ રમણભાઈને સ્વભાવે એટલે બધે સરળ અને સજન્યભર્યો કે એ સમય દરમિયાન બન્ને વચ્ચે પક્ષાપક્ષ કે વિરોધ જેવું બહુ થોડું બન્યું હતું.
સાઈટીના પ્રમુખ તેઓ નીમાયા એ અરસામાં મુંબઈમાં પીસી (Specie) બેંક તુટી અને તેના લિકવિડેટર તરીકે ભાઈશંકરને નીમવામાં આવ્યા હતા. તેઓ વળી કેટલોક સમય અમદાવાદ મ્યુનિસિપાલીટીના પ્રમુખ પણ ચુંટાયા હતા.
બેન્કના કામના અંગે તેમને ઘણુંખરૂં મુંબઈમાં રહેવું પડતું અને મ્યુનિસિપલ મિટિંગ માટે ખાસ અમદાવાદ આવતા; અને તે દિવસે સાઈટીના સેક્રેટરોને મેનેજીંગ કમિટીની સભા રાખવાનું તેઓ જણાવતા.+
અને જ્યાં સુધી તેઓ સાઈટીના પ્રમુખ રહ્યા ત્યાં સુધી એમની અનુકૂળતાએ અને એમની સૂચનાનુસાર મેનેજીંગ કમિટીની સભા રાખવામાં આવતી હતી. + જુઓ એમને એક પત્ર.

Will you please inform Rao Bahadur Ramanbhai that I shall be in Ahmedabad next Sunday and if there be any urgent work he may call the meeting of the Managing Committee on that day. I shall probably stay there on Monday bint I am not sure.
Please ask Manilal to send me 'the draft Rules which I had given him to prepare as I wish to have them ready to place before a special meeting to be fixed here after of the Managicg Committee.
