आदाननामकं अध्ययनं
श्रेष्ठ आगम रूप कर्णधार से अन्वित एवं तपश्चरण रूप पवन से प्रेरित होकर सर्व दुःखात्मक जगत से छूट जाती है - हट जाती है । मोक्ष रूप तीर को प्राप्त कर लेती है जहां समस्त द्वन्द्वों-दुःखों का उपरम-समापन या अभाव हो जाता है ।

तिउट्टई तुट्टंति
छाया - त्रुटति तु मेधावी जानन् लोके पापकम् । त्रुट्यन्ति पापकर्माणि नवं कर्माकुर्वतः ॥
उ मेधावी, पावकम्माणि,
अनुवाद जो लोक में पाप कर्म को जानता है, वह मेधावी - प्रज्ञाशील पुरुष पापकर्मों-अशुभबन्धनों को तोड़ देता है - नष्ट कर देता है और नये कर्म नहीं बांधता ।

टीका अपिच-स हि भावनायोगशुद्धात्मा नौरिव जले संसारे परिवर्तमानस्त्रिभ्योमनोवाक्कायेभ्योऽशुभेभ्यस्त्रुट्यति, यदिवा अतीव सर्वबन्धनेभ्यस्त्रुट्यति-मुच्यते अतित्रुटयति-संसारादतिवर्तते 'मेधावी' मर्यादाव्यस्थितः सदसद्विवेकी वाऽस्मिन् 'लोके' चतुर्दशरज्वात्मके भूतग्राम लोके वा यत्किमपि 'पापकं कर्म सावद्यानुष्ठानरूपं तत्कार्यं वा अष्ट प्रकारं कर्म तत् ज्ञपरिज्ञया जानन् प्रत्याख्यानपरिज्ञया च तदुपादानं परिहरन् ततस्त्रुटयति, तस्यैवं लोकं कर्म वा जानतो नवानि कर्माण्य कुर्वतो निरुद्धाश्रवद्वारस्य विकृष्टतपश्चरणवतः पूर्व संचितानि कर्माणि त्रुट्यन्ति निवर्तन्ते वा नवं च कर्माकुर्वतोऽशेषकर्मक्षयो भवतीति ॥६॥

टीकार्थ • भावना योग से जिसकी आत्मा शुद्ध है वह पुरुष जल में नौका की ज्यों संसार में रहता हुआ मन वचन और काया तीनों योगों द्वारा अशुभ कर्मों से पापों से छूट जाता है । अथवा वह सब प्रकार के बंधनों से सर्वदा विमुक्त हो जाता है । वह संसार सागर को पार कर जाता है। मेधावी - प्रज्ञाशील मर्यादाओं में टिका हुआ, सत एवं असत् का विवेक रखने वाला पुरुष चौदह रज्जु परिमित विविध प्राणियों से युक्त लोक में सावध - पापयुक्त कार्य अथवा आठ प्रकार के कर्मों को ज्ञपरिज्ञा द्वारा जानकर तथा प्रत्याखान परिज्ञा द्वारा उनका परिहार कर उनसे छूट जाता है । इस तरह वह लोक अथवा कर्म को जानता है-नये कर्म नहीं करतानहीं बांधता । आश्रव द्वारा उनको रोकता है तथा उत्तम तपश्चरण करता है । उसके पूर्व संचित- पहले बंधे हुए पाप कर्म टूट जाते हैं नष्ट हो जाते हैं। वह नये कर्म नहीं करता । इस प्रकार उसके समस्त कर्म क्षीण हो जाते हैं ।
अकुव्वओ णवं णत्थि, कम्मं नाम विजाणइ । विन्नाय से महावीरे, जेण जाई

अकुर्वतो नवं नास्ति, कर्म नाम विजानाति । विज्ञाय स महावीरो, येन याति न म्रियते ॥
जो कर्म नहीं करता उसके नये कर्म नहीं बंधते । वह आठ प्रकार के कर्मों को जानता
