श्री सूत्रकृताङ्ग सूत्रम् यह अनुवाद अध्ययन की झलक के रूप में प्रस्तुत है । अध्ययन स्वयं तक ही सीमित न रहे, अन्य आगम-पिपासुओं के लिए भी सहयोगी हो, इस हेतु अनुवाद हृदयंगम करने के साथ लिखित रूप में भी तैयार करने का प्रयास किया है । यह अनुवाद संघसेवा में सहयोगी श्री प्रियदर्शन मुनि जी एवं श्रुताराधना में सहयोगी डॉ. छगनलाल जी शास्त्री के परिश्रम का ही सुपरिणाम है । इस ओर परिश्रम कर आपने श्रुताराधना का अप्रतिम कार्य किया है, एतदर्थ उन्हें हार्दिक साधुवाद । एवं भविष्य में भी दोनों से यही आकांक्षा है कि अध्ययन-अध्यापनरूप श्रुताराधना में निरन्तर अग्रसर हों ।
मुझे ज्यों-ज्यों अवसर मिला, मैंने सम्पूर्ण अनुवाद को आद्योपान्त पढ़ा एवं आवश्यक निर्देश व टिप्पणियां भी दी । मुझे यह लिखते हुए अत्यन्त परितोष होता है कि अनुवाद आधुनिक प्रांजल हिन्दी में व परिनिष्ठित शैली में हुआ है । संस्कृत टीका के साथ पढ़ने वालों को तो इससे विशेष लाभ होगा ही, साथ ही अनुवाद ऐसी प्रवाहशील शैली में किया गया है कि हिन्दी में पढ़ने वाले भी टीकाकार द्वारा उद्घाटित आगमिक रहस्यों को आत्मसात् कर सकेंगे।
