जैनागम के अनुसार जिस प्राणी के शरीर का जितना आकार होता है। उसकी आत्मा का भी उतना ही आकार होता है, जैसे दीपक का प्रकाश स्थान के अनुसार संकुचित या विस्तृत होता रहता है । यही स्थिति आत्मा की है।
