अन्वयभाष्यम् । हे सरस्वति ! त्वं वाचा ज्ञानशक्तिप्रधानया, प्राणैः क्रियाशक्तिप्रधानैः मनसाकामनाभावना-कल्पनादिशक्तिप्रधानेन अन्त:करणेन च एतैः सह सह सम्मिलितैः तेजोजलानात्मकैः भूतैः त्रिभिः करणैः च त्रिवृता त्रिवृतीभूता अर्थात् त्रिवृत्करणेन सिद्धा सा समष्टिरूपा भवसि, तथैव त्रिभिः ज्योतिर्भि: अग्नीन्द्रसूर्यस्वरूपैः तथा शरीरैः स्थूल-सूक्ष्म-कारणरूपैश्च त्रिवृता सती इमाः विश्वा: प्राणभृतां तनूः सर्वाणि शरीराणि परीता व्याप्ता, अपि च विश्वमेतत् समग्रेण अभिव्याप्ता असि, तस्मात् सा परा वागेव विदा संविदात्मिकया शक्त्या संहिता सती हृदा तदनुभावेन च सिद्धा आत्मनः विश्वात्मनः मिथुनं तदधिष्ठितं पूयं युगलमिति ||
COMMENTARY-SUMMARY TRANSLATION Oh Sarasvati ! you, by the power of speech characterised by knowledge, by your vital powers (power of action ), and by the powers of the mind (such as desire, feeling and imagination), abide in all beings. In the material universe, light, water and physical matter are the forms you assume. These are basic things which by the process of triplication ( trivrtkarana ) take multitudinous forms. All these are pervaded by you, i. e., by Vak or the power of speech.
अष्टमी ऋक् । सरस्वती त्वं सती मिथुनमात्मन् करणैर्विश्वैश्चित्ती विश्वाsध्यन्तः ॥ अयं यावा श्चितस्तावती परीता
वाक् परमा ज्योतिर्विश्वस्य दर्शयत् ॥ ८ ॥ पदपाठ :- सरस्वती । त्वम् । सती । मिथुनम् । आत्मन् ।
करणैः । विश्वैः । चित्ती । विश्वऽथा । अधि । अन्तरिति॥ अयम् | यावान् । चितः । तावती । परि। इता ।। वाक् । परमा । ज्योतिः। विश्वस्य । दर्शयत् ।।
Oh Sarasvati ! you are one with the inner soul, like a couple in full harmony. You are in the heart of all and in the universe as well with your faculties such as intellect etc., with senses of knowledge and action, and with all other powers. You are as infinitely pervasive as the power of consciousness. Våk is the greatest power of knowledge which illumniates the whole universe. CD-18
