प्रकाशयामास, एकस्यैव आत्मनः तस्य बहुधा प्रकाशने हेतुभूता सा परा वागेवेति भावः । तस्मात् सा परा वागेव विदा ज्ञानशक्त्या प्रधाना हृदयेन तदनुभावेन च सर्वेषां अन्तरात्मनः तस्य परमपुरुषस्य अध्यात्मतत्त्वेन पूर्णे मिथुनम्, वाक्-आत्मा च नित्यसिद्धं युगलमिति ।
COMMENTARY-SUMMARY TRANSLATION Oh Sarasvati! Purusha (the Supreme Person ) is always one and independent as well as invisible. Inspired by the Atman, you manifested the Purusha in various ways. This means, Vak, the power of speech, is the main cause of manifesting the one as Many. Våk is certainly equivalent to Átman. Vak and Ātman are the couple spiritually united with each other in perfect harmony.
सप्तमी ऋक् । सरस्वति त्वदाविहित ज्योतिषा निविष्टा चितिभिः स्वमात्मानं सन्तम् || इमं जीवयसीह स्वेन रसैन
वाग् विदा मिथुनं हृदाऽऽत्मनोऽध्यरम् ॥ ७ ॥ पदपाठ :- सरस्वति । त्वत् । आविः । हितम् । ज्योतिषा ।
निऽविष्टा । चितिऽभिः । स्वम् । आत्मानम् । सन्तम् ।। इमम् । जीवयसि । इह । स्वेन । रसैन ।
वाक् । विदा । मिथुनम् । हृदा । आत्मनः। अधि । अरम् ।। Oh Sarasvati ! it is due to your power that the Atman who abides with his several faculties ( chetanā etc. ) is manifested and is full of light. You by your essence make the sentient beings live and breathe. Oh Vak, by your power of consciousness, you are identified with the heart like a veritable couple.
अन्वयभाष्यम् । हे सरस्वति ! त्वत् त्वत्त: तत्परमात्मचेताया एव वाक्छक्तेः सकाशात् आविहितं प्रादुर्भूतं, ज्योतिषा स्वरूपेण तेजसा प्रकाशितं स्वं निजं अन्तरात्मानं तं आन्तरतमं सन्तं चित्तिभिः चेतनादिशक्तिभिः निविष्टा प्रति प्रविष्टा सती इमं जीवात्मानं अस्माकं आन्तरं स्वेन रसेन वाग्रसेन संविन्मयेन इह अस्मिन् लोके शरीरे च जीवयसि प्राणयसि, तदिदं वाच: सत्त्वम्, “ तस्याः समुद्रा अधि वि क्षरन्ति तेनं जीवन्ति प्रदिशश्चतस्रः । ततः क्षरत्यक्षरं तद्
