व्याप्ता, तथा स्वेन आत्मना उत्सृष्टं प्रसूतं तत् तेज: वाचा वाग्रूपेण सम्यक् आविवेश, सा वागेव अस्य विश्वस्य जगतः परा माता प्रसवित्री आत्मनः प्रमात्री च विदा योगेन भवतीति ||
COMMENTARY-SUMMARY TRANSLATJON Oh Sarasvati ! being invested with the essence of light and sound, you are one with the essence of the sun and his rays. You pervade all round. Vak has entered the light of the sun and also the light emitted from the innermost soul. Väk is the mother of this universe and the measure of Ātman.
षष्ठी ऋछ। सरस्वति त्वं मात्रयाऽपां प्राणानां विद्यता चेन्द्रेणाहिता सं रसैन ॥ उत्सृष्टास्ता अप आ विवेश प्राणैः
यंग विदा माता विश्वस्यात्मनः परा ॥६॥ पदपाठ :- सरस्वति । त्वम् । मात्रया । अपाम् । प्राणानाम् ।
विऽद्युता । च । इन्द्रेण । आऽहिता । सम् । रसेन ।। उत्ऽसृष्टाः। ताः । अपः । आऽविवेश । प्राणैः । वाक् । विदा । माता । विश्वस्य । आत्मनः । परा ।।
Oh Sarasvati ! being invested with the subtle measure of waters, and of the vital airs ( prānas ), and being one with the lightning of Indra and all his subtle essence, you parvade everything. Vàk entered the essence of the liquid elements along with the vital airs. Våk is the mother of the universe and the measure of Atman.
अन्वयमाष्यम्। हे सरस्वति ! त्वं अपां प्राणानां च मात्रया रस-स्पर्शतन्मात्रया, विद्युता वैद्युतेन ज्योतिषा तदधिष्ठात्रा इन्द्रेण तदैवतेन तद्रसेन च समाहिता सर्वतो व्याप्ताऽसि, तथा आत्मनः वाच: च सकाशात् उत्सृष्टाः प्रसूताः ताः अपः सरसा: सती: प्राणैः वायुसत्त्वैः सह सा वाक् आविवेश, तस्मात् सा वागेव विश्वस्य माता प्रसवित्री, आत्मनः प्रमात्री च विदा ज्ञानसत्त्वयोगेन भवतीति ||
