Neither Nahapana nor Bhumaka are mentioned in the inscription on Mathura Lion Pillar Capital published in Epigraphia Indica Vol. JS, P. 185.
It is positively Buddhistic as the proper names have Buddha prefixed to them and they are discribed as Sarvástivadin. Nahapan did succeed Bhumaka but their relationship is not yet found. They are not son and father.
