PREFACE
Mahopadhyaya'. 'Dravya-Guna-Paryayano Rasa' is indeed one of his most precious work from his best composed ones on the subject of 'Dravyanuyoga'. It was composed around 1655 A.D.
We owe our gratitude to the highly intellectual 'Reverend Mahopadhyayji indeed !
Reverend 'Panyāsa Sri Yašovijayjí -
The Author of 'Dravyanuyoga-Paramarsa'. Inspired by the preachings of Acarya Sri Bhuvanabhanusurīšvarji, a young boy named 'Naresa', at the age of eighteen, resident of Veravala city (Gujarat) accepted the Jain Diksa in 1983 A.D.
He became the disciple of Reverend Panyasa Višvakalyanavijayji, who himself was the disicple of Acarya Sri Bhuvanabhanusurišvarji. He was given the name 'Yašovijaya'. After Dikšā, he deeply studied the Jain Agamas, six philosophical systems headed by Nyaya, buddhist scriptures called the 'Tripitakas', Veda, Upnišad, Gīta etc.
While practicing self-control and spiritual discipline, he tries to bring the lives of many people on the right path by his religious discourses. He also carries out various activities that would propogate the religious order (Sasana). At the same time, by composing many new Sanskrit commentaries on the works of Reverend Mahopadhyayji, through his subtle logical power, meditative thinking and perception of scriptures, he has helped to popularise many intricate ideas expressed in the writings of Mahopadhyayji.
Until now, about 50 books written by him, are available in Sanskrit, Gujarati, Hindi & English. Considering his worthiness, treasure of qualities, erudition etc. he was first given the rank of 'Gani', and in 2010 A.D. he was bestowed on the rank of 'Panyasa'. We are extremely happy while publishing this voluminous text composed by his Reverend self, and we are extremely thankful to him.
