बृहत्प्रत्याख्यानसंस्तरस्तवाधिकार २। ४१ यथा निर्यापकरहिता नावो वररत्नसुपूर्णाः। पत्तनमासन्नाः खलु प्रमादमूला निबुडंति ॥ ८८॥
अर्थ-हे क्षपक जैसे श्रेष्ठरत्नोंकर भरा हुआ जहाज समुद्रके किनारे नगरके समीप भी पहुंच जाय परंतु प्रमादके कारण खेवटियासे रहित हुआ जहाज समुद्रमें डूब जाता है, उसीतरह' सम्यग्दर्शनादिरत्नोंकर परिपूर्ण सिद्धिके समीपभूत संन्यासरूपी नगरको प्राप्त हुआ क्षपकरूपी जिहाज प्रमादके वश संन्यासके साधक आचार्योंसे रहित हुआ संसारसमुद्र में डूबता है। इसलिये यत्न करना चाहिये ॥ ८८॥
कोई कहे कि अभावकाशादि बाह्ययोग करनेकी योग्यता न होनेपर क्या करना उसका समाधान कहते हैंबाहिरजोगविरहिओ अब्भंतरजोगझाणमालीणो। जह तमि देसयाले अमूढसण्णो जहसु देहं ।। ८९॥ बाह्ययोगविरहितः आभ्यंतरयोगध्यानमालीनः। यथा तमिन् देशकाले अमूढसंज्ञः जहीहि देहम् ॥ ८९॥
अर्थ-हे क्षपक अभावकाशादि बाह्ययोगोंसे रहित हुआ भी अभ्यंतरपरिणामोंमें एकाग्रचिंताके निरोधरूप ध्यानमें लीन हुआ संन्यासके देशकालमें आहारादि संज्ञा रहित होके शरीरका त्याग कर ॥ ८९॥
इसतरह शरीरके त्याग करनेसे क्या फल होता है उसे कहते हैं;हंतूण रागदोसे छेत्तूण य अट्ठकम्मसंकलियं । जम्मणमरणरहट्ट भेत्तूण भवाहिं मुच्चहिसि ॥९॥
