बृहत्प्रत्याख्यानसंस्तरस्तवाधिकार २। ३५ अणयारभंडसेवी जम्मणमरणाणुबंधीणी ॥ ७४॥
शस्त्रग्रहणं विषभक्षणं च ज्वलनं जलप्रवेशश्च । अनाचारभांडसेवी जन्ममरणानुबंधीनः ॥ ७४ ॥
अर्थ-खड्ग( तलवार ) आदिसे अपना घात( मरण )करना, विष खानेसे हुआ मरण, अग्निसे हुआ मरण, नदी कुवा बाबडी आदिमें डूबनेसे हुआ मरण, पापक्रियारूपवस्तुसेवनसे हुआ मरणइसतरह अपघातरूप मरण हैं वे जन्ममरणके संतानरूप दीर्घसंसारके कारण जानना ॥ ये मरण समीचीन आचरण करनेवालेके नहीं होते ॥ ७४ ॥ __ आगे ऐसे मरणके भेद सुन संन्यास करनेवाला साधु संवेग निर्वेदमें तत्पर होके ऐसा चिंतवन करता हैउडमधो तिरियमिदु कदाणि बालमरणाणि बहुगाणि। दसणणाणसहगदो पंडियमरणं अणुमरिस्से ॥ ७५ ॥
ऊर्ध्वमधस्तिर्यक्षु तु कृतानि बालमरणानि बहुकानि । दर्शनज्ञानसहगतः पंडितमरणं अनुमरिष्यामि ॥ ७५ ॥
अर्थ-ऊर्ध्वलोक-अधोलोकमें देवनारकीमें, तिर्यग्लोकमें मनुष्यतिर्यंचयोनिमें मैंने बालमरण बहुत किये। अब दर्शनज्ञान सहित हुआ पंडितमरण अर्थात् शुद्धपरिणामरूप चारित्र पूर्वक संन्याससे प्राणोंका त्याग करूंगा ॥ ७५ ॥
आगे क्षपक कहता है कि अकामकृतमरणोंको यादकर पंडित मरणसे प्राणोंका त्याग करूंगा;उव्वयमरणं जादीमरणं णिरएसु वेदणाओ य। . एदाणि संभरंतो पंडियमरणं अणुमरिस्से ॥७६ ॥
