बृहत्प्रत्याख्यानसंस्तरस्तवाधिकार २। २९ मरणे विराधिते देवदुर्गतिः दुर्लभा च किल बोधिः । संसारश्चानंतो भवति पुनरागमिष्यति काले ॥ ६१ ॥
अर्थ-मरणके समय जो सम्यक्त्वकी विराधना करते (छोड़ते ) हैं अथवा आर्तरौद्र सहित मरते हैं उनकी भवनवासी आदि नीचकुली देवताओंमें उत्पत्ति होती है और सम्यक्त्व वा रत्नत्रयकी प्राप्ति दुर्लभ है ऐसा आगममें कहा है । तथा ऐसे जीवोंके आगामीकालमें चारों गतिमें भ्रमण करनेरूप संसार

ऐसा पूछनेपर आचार्य कहते हैं;कंदप्पमाभिजोगं किव्विस संमोहमासुरत्तं च । ता देवदुग्गईओ मरणम्मि विराहिए होंति ॥ ६३ ॥
कांदर्पमाभियोग्यं कैल्विष्यं संमोहं आसुरत्वं च । ता देवदुर्गतयो मरणे विराधिते भवंति ॥ ६३ ॥
