मूलाचारदेहस्स सव्वहस्सं कुंथुपमाणं जलचरेसु ॥ १०८३ ॥ साहसिकास्तु मत्स्या स्वयंभूरमणे पंचशतिकास्तु । देहस्य सर्वहस्वं कुंथुप्रमाणं जलचरेषु ॥ १०८३ ॥
अर्थ-वयंभूरमण समुद्रमें हजार योजन प्रमाण मत्स्य हैं और नदीमुखमें पांचसौ योजनके हैं। देहका सबसे जघन्य प्रमाण जलचर जीवोंमें कुंथुप्रमाण है ॥ १०८३ ॥ जलथलखगसम्मुच्छिमतिरिय अपजत्तया विहत्थी दु। जलसम्मुच्छिमपजत्तयाण तह जोयणसहस्सं॥१०८४ जलस्थलखगसम्मूर्छिमतिर्यचः अपर्याप्तका वितस्तिस्तु । जलसंमूर्छिमपर्याप्तकानां तथा योजनसहस्रं ॥ १०८४ ॥
अर्थ-जलचर स्थलचर खचर और संमूर्छन तिर्यंच अपर्यातक एक विलस्तप्रमाण होते हैं और जलचर संमूर्छन पर्याप्तकोंका शरीर उत्कृष्ट एकहजार योजनप्रमाण है ।। १०८४ ॥ जलथलगन्भअपजत्त खगथलसमुच्छिमा य पजत्ता। खगगन्भजा य उभये उक्कस्सेणं धणुपुहत्तं ॥१०८५॥ जलस्थलग पर्याप्ताः खगस्थलसंमूर्छिमाश्च पर्याप्ताः । खगगर्भजाश्च उभये उत्कृष्टेन धनुःपृथक्त्वं ॥ १०८५ ॥
अर्थ-जलचर स्थलचर गर्भज अपर्याप्त, आकाशचर स्थलचर संमूर्छन पर्याप्त, आकाशचर गर्भज पर्याप्त अपर्याप्त उत्कृष्टपनेसे चारसे लेकर आठ धनुष प्रमाण विस्तारवाले हैं ॥ १०८५ ॥ जलगभजपज्जत्ता उक्कस्सं पंच जोयणसयाणि। थलगन्भजपजत्ता तिगाउ उक्कस्समायामो॥१०८६ ॥
जलगर्भजपर्याप्ता उत्कृष्टं पंच योजनशतानि ।
