मूलाचारआलसी पीछे दोष कहनेवाला पिशुन हो, गुरुता कषाय बहुत रखता हो ऐसा साधु सेवने योग्य नहीं है ॥ ९५५ ॥ वेजावच्चविहीणं विणयविहूणं च दुस्सुदिकुसीलं । समणं विरागहीणं सुसंजमो साधु ण सेविज॥९५६॥
वैयावृत्त्यविहीनं विनयविहीनं च दुःश्रुतिकुशीलं । श्रमणं विरागहीनं सुसंयमो साधुन सेवेत ॥९५६ ॥
अर्थ-रोगी आदिकी सेवासे रहित, विनयरहित, खोटे शास्त्रोंकर कुआचरणी वैराग्यरहित ऐसे साधुको उत्तम चारित्रवाला साधु नहीं सेवे ॥ ९५६ ॥ दंभं परपरिवादं पिसुणत्तण पावसुत्तपडिसेवं । चिरपव्वइदंपि मुणी आरंभजुदं ण सेविज ॥९५७ ॥

अर्थ-जो ठगनेवाला हो, दूसरेको पीडा देनेवाला हो, झूठे दोषोंको ग्रहण करनेवाला हो, मारण आदि मंत्रशास्त्र अथवा हिंसापोषकशास्त्रोंका सेवनेवाला हो, आरंभ सहित हो ऐसे बहुत कालसे दीक्षित भी मुनिको सदाचरणी नहीं सेवे ॥ ९५७ ॥ चिरपव्वइदंवि मुणी अपुट्ठधम्मं असंपुडं णीचं । . लोइय लोगुत्तरियं अयाणमाणं विवजेज ॥ ९५८ ॥ चिरप्रव्रजितमपि मुनि अपुष्टधर्म असंवृतं नीचं । लौकिकं लोकोत्तरं अजानंतं विवर्जयेत् ॥ ९५८ ॥
