अर्थ - कपड़े आदि सब परिग्रहका त्याग, केशलोंच, शरीरसंस्कारका अभाव मोरपीछी यह चारप्रकार लिंगभेद जानना । ये चारों अपरिग्रह समीचीन भावना वीतरागता दयापालना इनके चिन्ह हैं ॥ ९०८ ॥
अचेलकुद्देसिय सेज्जाहर रायपिंड किदियम्मं । वद जेह पडिक्कमणे मासे पज्जो समणकप्पो ॥ ९०९ ॥ अचेलकत्वमुद्देशिकं शय्यागृहं राजपिंडं कृतिकर्म । व्रतानि ज्येष्ठः प्रतिक्रमणं मासः पर्या श्रमणकल्पः॥९०९॥ अर्थ — श्रमणकल्प अर्थात् मुनिधर्मभेद दस तरहका हैवस्त्रादिका अभाव, उद्देशसे भोजनका त्याग, मेरी वसतिकामें रहनेवालेको भोजन देना इस उपदेशका अभाव, गरिष्ट पुष्ट भोजनका त्याग, वंदनादिमें अपने साथी होनेका त्याग, साथी मिलने की इच्छाका त्याग, पूज्यपनेका विचार, दैवसिकादि प्रतिक्रमण, योगसे पहले मासतक रहना, पंचकल्याणकोंके स्थानोंका सेवन ॥ ९०९ ॥
रजसेदाणमगहणं मद्दव सुकुमालदा लहुत्तं च । जत्थेदे पंचगुणा तं पडिलिहणं पसंसंति ॥ ९९० ॥ रजः स्वेदयोरग्रहणं मार्दवं सुकुमारता लघुत्वं च । यत्रैते पंचगुणास्तं प्रतिलेखनं प्रशंसति ॥ ९९० ॥ अर्थ — जिसमें ये पांच गुण हैं उस शोधनोपकरण पीछी आदिकी साधुजन प्रशंसा करते हैं वह ये हैं-धूलि और पसेवसे मैली न हो कोमल हो देखने योग्य हो हलकी हो ॥ ९९० ॥ सुहुमा हु संति पाणा दुप्पेक्खा अक्खिणो अगेज्झा हु ।
