मूलाचारअर्थ-वे मुनि निर्विकार उद्धतचेष्टारहित विचारवाले समुद्रके समान निश्चल गंभीर छह आवश्यकादि नियमोंमें दृढ प्रतिज्ञावाले
और परलोककेलिये उद्यमवाले होते हैं ।। ८५९ ॥ जिणवयणभासिदत्थं पत्थं च हिदं च धम्मसंजुत्तं ।। समओवयारजुत्तं पारत्तहिदं कधं करेंति ॥ ८६०॥ जिनवचनभाषितार्थी पथ्यां च हितां च धर्मसंयुक्तां । समयोपचारयुक्तां पारयहितां कथां कुर्वति ॥ ८६० ॥
अर्थ-वीतरागके आगमकर कथित अर्थवाली पथ्यकारी धर्मकर सहित आगमके विनयकर सहित परलोकमें: हित करनेवाली ऐसी कथाको करते हैं ॥ ८६० ॥ सत्ताधिया सप्पुरिसा मग्गं मण्णंति वीदरागाणं । अणयारभावणाए भावेंति य णिचमप्पाणं ॥ ८६१॥ सत्त्वाधिकाः सत्पुरुषा मार्ग मन्यते वीतरागाणां । अनगारभावनया भावयंति च नित्यमात्मानम् ॥ ८६१॥
अर्थ-उपसर्ग सहनेसे अकंप परिणामवाले ऐसे साधुजन वीतरागोंके सम्यग्दर्शनादिरूप मार्गको मानते हैं और अनगार भावनासे सदा आत्माका ही चितवन करते हैं ।। ८६१ ॥ __ आगे तपशुद्धिको कहते हैं;- . णिचं च अप्पमत्ता संजमसमिदीसु झाणजोगेसु । तवचरणकरणजुत्ता हवंति सवणा समिदपावा ॥८६२ नित्यं च अप्रमत्ता संयमसमितिषु ध्यानयोगेषु । तपश्चरणकरणयुक्ता भवंति श्रमणाः समितपापाः ॥८६२॥ अर्थ-वे मुनीश्वर सदा संयम समिति ध्यान और योगोंमें
