मूलाचारयत् भवति द्वयहं त्र्यहं च विवर्ण जंतुसंश्लिष्टं । अप्रासुकं तु ज्ञात्वा तां भिक्षा मुनयः विवर्जयंति ॥८२२॥
अर्थ-जो भोजन दो दिनका किया हो वा तीनदिनका किया हो खभावसे चलित होगया हो संमूर्छन जीवोंकर सहित हो उसको अप्रासुक जानकर उस आहारको वे मुनि छोड़ देते हैं ॥ ८२२ ।। जं पुप्फिद किण्णइदं दट्टणं पूव्वपप्पडादीणि । वजति वजणिज्जं भिक्खू अप्पासुयं जं तु॥८२३ ॥ यत् पुष्पितं क्लिन्नं दृष्ट्वा अप्रूपपटादीनि । वजयंति वर्जनीयं भिक्षवः अप्रासुकं यत्तु ॥ ८२३ ॥
अर्थ-जो नीले सफेद आदि रूप हुए दुर्गधरूप हुए ऐसे पूवा पापड आदिको देखकर अप्रासुक वस्तु त्यागने योग्य है ऐसा समझ वे मुनिराज ऐसे आहारको छोड़ देते हैं ॥ ८२३ ॥ जं सुद्धमसंसत्तं खजं भोज्जं च लेज्ज पेजं वा। गिर्हति मुणी भिक्खं सुत्तेण अणिदियं जंतु॥८२४॥
यत् शुद्धमसंसक्तं खाद्यं भोज्यं च लेयं पेयं वा । गृहंति मुनयः भिक्षा सूत्रेण अनिंदितं यत्तु ॥ ८२४ ॥
अर्थ-जो कुरूप न हो और जंतुओंकर सहित न हो सूत्रसे अनिंदित हो ऐसे खाद्य भोज्य लेह्य पेय चारप्रकारके आहारको वे मुनि ग्रहण करते हैं ॥ ८२४ ॥ फलकंदमूलवीयं अणग्गिपकं तु आमयं किंचि। णचा अणेसणीयं णवि य पडिच्छंति ते धीरा॥८२५॥ फलकंदमूलबीजं अनग्निपकं तु आमकं किंचित् । ज्ञात्वा अनशनीयं नापि च प्रतीच्छंति ते धीराः॥८२५॥
