अर्थ-औदेशिक क्रीततर अज्ञात शंकित अन्यस्थानसे आया सूत्रके विरुद्ध और सूत्रसे निषिद्ध ऐसे आहारको वे मुनि त्याग देते हैं ॥ ८१२ ॥ अण्णादमणुण्णादं भिक्खं णिचुच्चमज्झिमकुलेसु । घरपंतिहिं हिंडंति य मोणेण मुणी समादिति ॥८१३
अज्ञातामनुज्ञातां मिक्षां नीचोचमध्यमकुलेषु । गृहपंक्तिभिः हिंडंति च मौनेन मुनयः समाददते ॥८१३॥
अर्थ-दरिद्र धनवान् सामान्यघरोंमें घरोंकी पंक्तिसे वे मुनि भ्रमण करते हैं और फिर मौनपूर्वक अज्ञात अनुज्ञात भिक्षाको (आहारको ) ग्रहण करते हैं ॥ ८१३ ॥ सीदलमसीदलं वा सुकं लुक्खं सुणिद्ध सुद्धं वा।। लोणिमलोणिदं वा भुंजंति मुणी अणासादं ॥८१४॥
शीतलमशीतलं वा शुष्कं रूक्षं सुस्निग्धं शुद्धं वा। लवणितमलवणितं वा भुंजते मुनयः अनास्वादम् ॥ ८१४॥
अर्थ-शीतल गरम अथवा सूखा रूखा चिकना विकाररहित लोनसहित अथवा रहित ऐसे भोजनको वे मुनि खादरहित जीमते हैं ॥ ८१४ ॥ अक्खोमक्खणमेत्तं भुंजंति मुणी पाणधारणणिमित्तं। पाणं धम्मणिमित्तं धम्मपि चरंति मोक्खलु ॥ ८१५॥
