मूलाचारषड्जीवनिकायैः भयमदस्थानः ब्रह्मधर्मे । कायोत्सर्ग अधितिष्ठामि तत्कर्मनिघातनार्थ ॥ ६५४ ॥
अर्थ-एक पादसे जो खड़ा है उसके रागद्वेषकर जो अतीचार हो उसीतरह चार कषायोंकर तीन गुप्तियोंका जो उलंघन हो, व्रतोंमें जो अतीचार हो, पृथिवी आदि छह काय जीवोंकी विराधनासे जो अतीचार हुआ हो, सात भय आठ भेदोंके द्वारा जो अतीचार हुआ हो, ब्रह्मचर्य धर्ममें जो अतीचार हुआ हो-इन सबसे आया जो कर्म उसके नाशके लिये मैं कायोत्सर्गका आश्रय लेता हूं अर्थात् कायोत्सर्गसे तिष्ठता हूं ॥ ६५३-६५४ ॥ जे केई उवसग्गा देवामाणुसतिरिक्खचेदणिया। ते सव्वे अधिआसे काओसग्गे ठिदो संतो॥६५५॥
ये केचन उपसर्गा देवमानुषतिर्यगचेतनिकाः। तान् सर्वान् अध्यासे कायोत्सर्गे स्थितः सन् ॥ ६५५ ॥
अर्थ-जो कुछ देव मनुष्य तिर्यंच अचेतनकृत उपसर्ग हैं उन सबको कायोत्सर्गमें स्थित हुआ मैं अच्छीतरह सहन करता हूं ॥ ६५५ ॥ संवच्छरमुक्कस्सं भिण्णमुहुत्तं जहण्णयं होदि । सेसा काओसग्गा होति अणेगेसु ठाणेसु ॥ ६५६ ॥ संवत्सरमुत्कृष्टं भिन्नमुहूर्त जघन्यं भवति । शेषाः कायोत्सर्गा भवंति अनेकेषु स्थानेषु ॥ ६५६ ॥
अर्थ-कायोत्सर्ग एकवर्षका उत्कृष्ट और अंतर्मुहूर्त प्रमाण जघन्य होता है। शेष कायोत्सर्ग दिनरात्रि आदिके भेदसे बहुत हैं। असदं देवसियं कल्लद्धं पक्खियं च तिण्णिसया।
