आपसे एजंतं सहसा दट्टण संजदा सव्वे । वच्छल्लाणासंगहपणमणहेतुं समुहंति ॥ १६० ॥ आयासेन आगच्छंतं सहसा दृष्ट्वा संयताः सर्वे । वात्सल्याज्ञासंग्रह प्रणमनहेतोः समुत्तिष्ठते ॥ १६० ॥ अर्थ — परिश्रमकर अन्य संघसे आये हुए पाहुणे मुनिको देखकर शीघ्र ही सब संयमी वात्सल्य ( प्रेम ), सर्वज्ञाज्ञा पालन, नवीनमुनिको अपना करना, और नमस्कार करना - इन प्रयोजनोंके निमित्त उठकर खड़े होजांय ॥ १६० ॥

पग्गमणं किच्चा सत्तपदं अण्णमण्णपणमं च । पाहुणकरणीयकदे तिरयणसंपुच्छणं कुज्जा ॥ १६९ ॥ प्रत्युद्गमनं कृत्वा सप्तपदं अन्योन्यप्रणामं च । पादोष्णकरणीयकृते तिरत्न संप्रश्नं कुर्यात् ।। १६१ ॥
अर्थ – सात पैंड सन्मुख जाकर परस्पर नमस्कार करके पादोष्ण क्रिया करते हुए मुनि आये मुनि से सम्यग्दर्शनादि रत्न - यका प्रश्न करें अर्थात् तुमारे रत्नत्रय शुद्ध पलते हैं ॥ १६९ ॥ आएसस्स तिरतं णियमा संघाडओदु दादव्वो । किरियासंथारादिसु सहवासपरिक्खणाहेदुं ॥ १६२ ॥ आगतस्य त्रिरात्रं नियमात् संघाटकस्तु दातव्यः । क्रियासंस्तारादिषु सहवासपरीक्षणाहेतोः ।। १६२ ॥
अर्थ —आये हुए अन्य संघके मुनिको स्वाध्याय संस्तर भिक्षा आदिका स्थान बतलानेकेलिये तथा उनकी शुद्धताकी परीक्षा करनेकेलिये नियमसे सहायक मुनि साथमें रहनेको तीन दिन - ततक देना चाहिये ॥ १६२ ॥
