________________ Shri Mahavir Jain Aradhana Kendra www.kobatirth.org Acharya Shri Kailassagarsuri Gyanmandir [viii] from the Punjab. If this art stands for a then it means modern Balkh, which is a country beyond Kashmir. From the verse faarag ng etc. quoted above it seems that Vyomaśivacārya was in all probability a saint scholar of the Siddhanta Saiva school, which was widely prevalent in that age. All the Acaryas of this school like Aghora-Śivacārya, Sadyojyoti Śivacārya, Umapati Šivacārya etc. had the title of Śivacārya. This school also had its centres of culture both in Northern as well as Southern India. King Bhoja of Dhara was an authoritative writer on the Siddhanta Śaiva and such other schools. His work has already appeared in print in two editions, one from Trivandrum and the other from Devakot. For Private And Personal Use Only Gaurinath Sastri
