This commentary is attributed to Vidyatirtha, pupil of Paramâtmatirtha, and is complete.
The introduction of Sayana to the Rudraprasna in his commentary of the Taittiriyasamhita is up to the end of the passage य द्विष्यात् तस्य सञ्चर इति written on the first leaf. Then after a gap, it begins on the second leaf with the passage बिभर्ती चराचरम् ।
The introductory portion here seems to have been borrowed from Sayana's commentary under a mistaken sense of identity between Vidyatirtha and Vidyaranya.
Beginning:
यस्य निःश्वसितं वेदा यो वेदेभ्योऽखिलं जगत् निर्ममे तमहं वन्दे विद्यातीर्थमहेश्वरम् ॥ इष्टकाचितयस्सर्वाः चतुर्थे हि समाहि (पि) ताः रुद्राध्याये पञ्चमे तु चित्यग्नौ होम उच्यते ॥
