The Kauthuma text of the Arṣeya Brāhmaṇa has been edited by Dr. Burnell with extracts from the commentary of Sayaṇa, Mangalore, 1876, and by Satyavrata Samasramin with the commentary of Sayana. The Samavidhāna Brāhmaṇa has been edited by Dr. Burnell with Sayana's commentary, 1873. The Vamsa Brahmana has been edited by A. Weber, Ind. Stud. Vol. IV, and by Dr. Burnell with Sayana's commentary, 1873. The Dēvatadhyāya Brāhmaṇa has been edited by Dr. Burnell with Sayana's commentary 1877. The Praudha Brahmana known also by the names of Mahābrāhmaṇa, Pañcavimsa Brāhmaṇa and Tandya Brahmana has been edited with Sayana's commentary by Anandachandra Vedantavägisa in the Bibl. Ind. (1870--74). The Sadvimsa Brahmana is a supplement to the preceding which is known by the name of Pañcavimsa Brāhmaṇa, as the name Şadvimsa twenty-sixth' indicates, and as it consists of twenty-five Prapathakas. The last section of the book, which treats of omens and the expiatory ceremonies to be performed to remove their evil effects, is called Adbhuta Brahmana and has been published with a translation and explanatory notes in Zwei Vedische Text uber Omina und Portenta (1859).
