Mahānāmni which is found at the end of the Purvark portion in some manuscripts and not in others.
THE SANSKRIT MANUSCRIPTS.
In this manuscript the hymns are accented by putting the marko for the Udatta and the mark for the Svarita in some places, and leaving the Anudatta unmarked.
Beginning of the Purvark:
बर्हिषि ॥
नया हि वीतये । गुणानो हव्यदातये । नि होता सत्सि
।
End:
सप्तं त्वा हरितो रथे वहन्ति देव सूर्य । शोचिषेशं विचक्षण । 601111 पञ्चमः खण्डः ॥
स्व - 9 ॥ च - 4 ॥ धा
आरुणं समाप्तम् ॥
Beginning of the Mahanamni:
विदा मघवन् विदा गातुमनुशंसिषो दिशः ॥
End:
शेरो योँ गाँषु गच्छति संखा सुशैवो अद्वयुः । महानाम्नी समाप्ता ॥ हरिः ओम् ॥
Beginning of the Uttarark:
उपास्मै गायता नरः पवमानायैन्दवे । अभी देवी ईयक्षते ।
End:
स्तोता स्यां तव शर्मणि उदग्रे शुचयस्तव । शुक्रा भ्राजन्त ईरते || तव ज्योतींष्यर्चयः
