The sixth note of the Sāmavēda, which, as already explained, corresponds to b flat, or Kaisiki Nişāda, and the seventh which corresponds to g, or Pažicama, occur very rarely. So, omitting these two sounds, I may say that the melody of the Sāmavēda is uniform and may be identified with the Rāga, called Abhõgi, which is a derivative Räga referred to the original Kharabarapriya, and whose uotes arc H B T HET H.
