હિંદુઓનું સમાજરચનાશાસ્ત્ર
એ નિરાશાવાદ જ છે. કોઈ પણ વિચારને સાપેક્ષ કહે એનો અર્થ એ કે તે વિચાર જ નથી એમ કબુલ કરી લેવું.
" As Miinsterburg says: Every doubt of absoluto values destroys itself, as thonght it contradicts itself; as doubt it denies itself and as belief it despairs itself. To deny every thouglit which is more than relative is to deprive every thought, even sceptical tlouglit itself, of its own presuppositions.”?
- રે. ડીન ઈજ કહે છે કે, “એટલે આપણને એમજ માનવાની ફરજ પડે છે કે અલૌકિક મૂલ્યોએ પ્રદશિને કરેલું જગત એ જ નૈતિક બાબતમાં સત્ય છે અને શાસ્ત્રોમાં વર્ણવેલું જગત તેમાંનો એક ઉપાડી લીધે પ્રાંત છે. તેનું અસ્તિત્વ પણ સતત નથી, માત્ર કાર્ય પુરતું જ છે. “વિિિાન ” શાસ્ત્રોની પ્રગતિ પર કે પરાગતિ પર આધાર ન રાખનારું અને તે સર્વથી પર એવું “નૈતિક મૂલ્યોનું જગત’છે, એમ માનવા તરફ સમકાલીન તત્વની પ્રવૃત્તિ થતી જાય છે.

પરંતુ આજે સામાન્ય માનવની સ્થિતિ બહુ જ વિચિત્ર થતી જાય છે. ભૂતકાલ સાથે સંબંધ છેડી દેવા માટે તેણે કમર કસી છે, તેને જુના ડહાપણની જરૂર નથી, પરંતુ તેને બદલે તેને નવી મૂઈ સહેલાઈથી પસંદ પડે છે, હાલમાં શાસ્ત્રોના નામ પર કોઈ પણ
