It has only 24 Prabandhas. It is dated Saka 1801 (+78), i.e.,A.D. 1879.
M: A Devanagarī transcript of the text of GV from a palm-leaf Ms. (dated Saka 1680, i.e., A. D. 1758), No. 2721, from the Oriental Library, Mysore. It records some variant readings noted perhaps from another Ms. there, No. 1025. This transcript was sent to me in 1938 by my friend Shri N. Anantarangachar, M. A., Mysore. It has an opening Mangala verse like this:
Its concluding colophon runs thus :
This possibly indicates that originally the text is copied out from a Ms. containing a Sanskrit commentary.
Then the copyist gives some details about himself thus :
Lately I was able to inspect personally both the palm-leaf Mss. from Mysore (Nos. 1025 and 2721 ) referred to under M. Some details may be noted here. The Ms. No. 1025 is a bundle of palm-leaves of different sizes. It contains works like the Astapadi, i.e., Gita
