In worship of Jina for his propitiation, invoking his mercy into distressed humanity, according to the prescribed form,
with spiritual significance. Beginning :
जातिर्जरामरणमित्यनलत्रयस्य जीवाश्रितस्य बहुतापकृतो यथावत् । विध्यापनाय जिनपदमुगानभूमौ धारत्रयं प्रवरवारिकृतं क्षिपामि ।। यद्यद्वचो जिनपतेर्भवतापहारि नाहं सुशीतलमपीह भवामि तद्वत् ।
कर्पूरचन्दनमितीव मयापितं यत् तत् पादपङ्कजसमाश्रयणं करोति ॥ 19. करुणाष्टकम्-eight verses for the propitiation of Jina invoking
his mercy and bliss so as to lead to mukti. 20. क्रियाकाण्डचूलिका-An ode to Jina in 17 verses for the performance
of rituals. 21. Sixteen verses on non-duality. No name is given. 22. Twenty verses on the final transcendental Truth. 23. शरीराष्टकम्-on the repulsive and transient nature of the
corporeal body.
स्नानाष्टकम्--Eight verses on spiritual bath. 25. ब्रह्मचर्याष्टकम् or युवतिसंगतिवर्जनाष्टकम्-on the bliss of avoiding
female contact. It begins thus :
भवविवर्द्धनमेव यतो भवेत् अधिकदुःखकरं चिरमङ्गिनां ।
इति निजाङ्गनयापि न तन्मतं मतिमतां सुरतं किमुतान्यथा ॥ End : युवतिसंगति वर्जनमष्टकं प्रति मुमुक्षुजनं भणितं मया ।
सुरतरागसमुद्रगता जनाः कुरुत मा क्रोधमत्र मुनौ मयि ।। Com. मया पद्मनन्दिमुनिना मुमुक्षुजनं प्रति युवतिस्त्रीसंगतिवर्जितं अष्टकं भणितं __ कथितं । सुरतरागसमुद्रगताः प्राप्ता जना: लोकाः अत्र मयि मुनी मुनीश्वरे
