It is a polemical tract against the theories of Bhatta and Sankara. The author is Vallabhācārya. When he gave out his theory of Bhakti, the Pandits of Kāśī of the school of Bhatta and Māyāvāda disputed his theory; he came over from his place at Caraņādri to Benares and vanquished them. When disputing with them, he left notes on which the present work is based. For a description of the text See 1.0. Catal. 808.
