The present MS contains only the first of the several introductory verses quoted in Mad. XII. 5756.
The only colophon, found in the MS, belongs to the first chapter of the work and runs (Fol. 22A of the first batch of leaves):
श्रीविद्यानन्दनाथेन शिवयोः प्रियसूनुना।
कृते सौभाग्यरत्नान्धौ तरङ्गः प्रथमोऽगमदिति ॥ The first batch of leaves gives the rules for the morning rites and observance of the sandhyā. The second and third batches give the detailed rules of worship.
