Substance, country-made paper. 9x4 inches. Folia, 1-92. Lines, '7. Extent in slokas, 1,650. Character, Nāgara. Appearance, fresh. Incomplete.
MSS of the work, complete in 36 chapters, are described in Bik. No. 1328, Mad. XII. 5756. One MS, belonging to the Indian Museum collection, contains chapters 22–24 with portions of chapters 21 and 25. The present MS contains a portion of the work, e.g., chapters 14 to 20. The last colophon refers to the work by the name Bhavānīkararatna but does not give the chapter number. The pre-initiation name of the author is recorded in the Madras MS to have been Śrīniyāsa, who refers to the present work at the end of his Sivārcanacandrikā. This and the following two works lay down the procedure of the worship of Tripurā.
