The work deals with sorcery of different kinds. For a description of it, cf. CS. V. 6, L. II. 989. The work in 20 chapters was printed by Rasik Mohan Chatterji in his Indrajālādisamgraha (Calcutta, 1879) and by Umācaran Tarkaratna and Tārāpada Nyāyaratna in Sulabha Tantraprakāśa (Calcutta, 1887). Though the beginning of the present MS agrees with the beginning of L. II. 989, it is prefaced by a statement giving the name as Mantracintamani (अथ मन्त्रचिन्तामणिलिख्यते)। Different chapter colophons of the present MS as well as different MSS of the work refer to it by different names, e.g. उड्डामरेश्वरतन्त्र,
उड्डामरमहातन्त्र, उड्डौश, वीरभद्रतन्त्र, वौरभद्रोड्डीश, रावणोड्डीश etc. Save and except the beginning the different MSS greatly differ.

This MS has no colophon. On the obverse of the first fol. occurs the title वीरभद्रतन्त्र in a later hand.
