The present MS runs up to the end of the 16th Patala, which is followed by the beginning of the 17th Patala devoted to the praise of the work.

Substance, country-made yellow paper. 14x61 inches. Folia, 12. nes, 12, 13 on a page. Extent in slokas, 432. Character, Bengali. Date, B.S. 1287. Appearance, fresh. Complete in 12 chapters.
The present MS contains chapters I-XII. The manuscript of the work described in L. I. 214 runs up to the 7th chapter. HPR..I. 285, which also bears the same name, appears to be a quite different work.
Beginning :-- श्रीश्वर उवाच ।
पूटण देवि प्रवक्ष्यामि तत्त्वमन्यद् यथा पुरा । तोये व्याप्ते तु सर्वत्र खर्गे मर्ये रसातले ॥ विश्वे चैकार्णवीभूते न सुरासुरमानवाः । नैव क्षितिर्न वा किञ्चित्तोयमात्रावशेषतः ॥ तदा विश्वम्भरादेवात् सिहक्षा मम जायते । ध्यात्वा वर्गादिसमये मायां सस्मार च प्रभुः ॥ तदा वटदलं भूत्वा तोयान्तं समवस्थितम् । ततो नारायणं देवं (स चे धरे) सा दधार खलीलया ॥
