A MS of a Jñānatilaka, in the form of an interlocution between Nārada and Vişnu, is described in Nep. Vol. I, p. 180. The present work which is in the form of an interlocution between Siva and his son Kārttikeya is apparently different and it deals with supreme knowledge.
The MS contains chapters V-VIII and a portion of chapter IV. The colophon of the 7th chapter (Fol. 19A) calls the work Kālajñānatilaka. Beginnings of the different chapters are as follows :Chapter V (Fol. 12A):श्रीकार्तिकेय वाच
